Dirrell-Ward: As I said in another thread, I see it as a repeat of Mayweather-Judah. Dirrell, like Judah, has the TALENT to give Ward trouble, but not the brains or toughness to beat him. Ward will outsmart Dirrell, impose himself, and win a UD in a pretty boring fight.

Froch-AA: Abraham brutally KO's the Garden Snake late. Froch has none of the quickness and skills of Dirrell to beat AA with. And even vs Dirrell, AA was begining to come on and land more. He'll definitely eventually find the target on Froch, and once that happens.... its pain time for Frochy.

Kessler-Green: Easiest fight to pick. Other then the fact that Green totally sucks, I think he'll already been unsure of himself after this ass whuppin, and intimidated being in front of thousands of roaring Danes. Kessler now has his confidence back, and even though he's slightly declined, he still has more then enough left to put Green to sleep in brutal fashion.

Which means the Semi's will be.... Ward, Kessler, AA, and.... Froch:doh::doh:
Damn, I figure Froch and Dirrell will both end up w/2 points, and they'll put Froch in the semi's since he owns a "win" over Dirrell.

So far in this tourney.... Ive only called ONE fight wrong, and that was Ward-Kessler.

I agree with all of the picks.

Froch-Abraham should be the most entertaining of the 3.

Ward vs Dirrell- I'm going with Dirrell on the upset. There are a few things I guess we could say to point out that its Mayweather-Judah again, but IMO Dirrell is better than Judah and Ward is not quite Mayweather. I think its a boxing match thats not too exciting but I just think Dirrell has the ability to catch Ward with quick counters from the outside, and out manuever him. I'm gonna say Matrix hurts him sometime in the fight and wins on a competitive but deserved decision.

Abraham vs Froch- I think Abraham gets to him late. AA's only problem is his lack of workrate. He gives away too many rounds but against Froch that won't matter because the Garden Snake is there to be hit with hard shots and its not like he has a chin of steel. He was put down by Taylor and rocked by Dirrell on more than one occasion. I think Abraham wears him down and forces a stoppage.

Kessler vs Green- Unless Green lands a lucky shot, I don't see how he can survive the Kessler onslaught. Kess's right hand will hurt Green and sooner or late, he'll fall from it. I'm thinking Kessler takes him out in 8 rounds.

I've got them all right except Froch/Dirrell(Bit of a robbery). I said Kessler would be champion again, also that Ward would be Kessler and Green, and had Dirrell to win vs. AA. I think Ward could lose to Dirrell. AD is the most talented fighter in the 6 but he has a grade school corner. Ward on the other hand has a boxing master mind in Virgil. That is the X-factor. My only question is can AD drop Ward. He did put AA down for the 1st time. Still have to do my hm work on this one but I agree spot on with you on the others in 3round. :cheer:

If there is anyone in the Super 6 that can beat Ward it's Dirrell. He's the only one that can match skills with Ward. Both are very good boxers, Ward is a little more rugged in the way he fights, Dirrell more defensive but I also think he's got better power than Ward. Ward has been hurt before and Dirrell is fast enough that you know he's going to land some shots. I would pick Ward without hesitation if I thought he could take Dirrell's shots, but I'm not sure he can. It's not that Dirrell hits so hard, it's that he's good enough to land shots that count. He's not the load up and look for the one punch KO kind of fighter, he's more of a sharpshooter and throws some good combos. I think this is the most evenly matched fight of the whole tournament.

Froch will probably get KO'd by Abraham. Froch will probably win some early rounds, but I think he's a little too brave and will walk into something huge and be done.

Kessler probably beats Green easy, I give Green a slight chance of landing something big, but I see Kessler being a huge favorite in this one.

I think Froch will out-box Abraham for much of the fight. But if he gets tired like he did against Kessler, he's going down.

What the hell makes so many ppl think Froch will "outbox" AA? Taylor really couldnt outbox AA, and Taylor is a superior boxer then Froch. AA has a pretty underrated jab, and dont be surprised when he starts busting Froch in the grill with it.

He won't really outbox AA, he will outwork him. AA is just a slow starter, he almost always loses early rounds. he just clams up and waits to explode.

Taylor did indeed outbox Abraham, and probably would've won the fight had he not been knocked out.

Also, Froch was able to out-box Kessler in spots. It's not difficult to out-box Abraham. What's difficult is out-boxing him for 12 whole rounds.

    Andre Dirrell OUTBOXED Abraham...Taylor DIDN'T...

Andre's win doesn't mean a whole lot if you ask me, just as Taylor's success against Abraham doesn't mean a whole lot given that he was KTFO in the 12th round.

Either way, because of Abraham's low output and because of his hands-up defense, it's not easy to out-work him and win rounds. Froch will be able to do this for some of the fight. That's my only point.
