Joe Calzaghe vs Allan Green

Would a prime Joe be able to make him quit or does Allan Green survive the slaps to hear the final bell?

Slappy wins a wide decision.

 

Green would not last the distance with a young Joe. Calz might not have been a monster puncher, but in his prime he hit a helluva lot harder then Ward.

 

Lesser fighters than Green have heard the final bell against Slappy.

 

Those "lesser" actually came to fight, had a will and kept throwing punches.

At some point in the fight would be throwing 40 punches in a row without having Green throw back. The ref would probably stop it due to this.

 

Calzaghe definitely hit harder early in his career, hand trouble forced him to take the pepperoni off his shots, but he had a dig early on

 

it wouldn't be any wider than the one Ward won.
