I will always pick Honeyghan-Starling. Lloyd was ripping through the division since the upset over Curry. Meanwhile the Magic Man had yet to distinguish himself as anything more than a difficult defensive fighter with the exception of the highlight win over Breland.

The way Starling absolutely confused Honeyghan was brilliant. Lloyd couldn't find Starling with any punches and Starling was landing multi punch combinations. You could slowly see the fight being beaten out Honeyghan who had really bullied most of his previous opponents.

One of the coolest beatdowns I've seen.

Starling/Honeyghan is one of the all-time favorites for me... one of my favorite boxers beating the snot out of one of my least favorite

some others I adore that have endless replay value:

Chavez -- Rosario and Camacho ... two absolutely stunning executions

Arguello -- Watt, Chacon (who I have nothing against, but who actually looked intimidated and spooked for maybe the only time in his life) and Kobayashi (who I also have nothing against, it was an incredible beating)

Sanchez -- both times against impossibly courageous Danny Lopez and against that dirty little bastard Gomez (though Wilfredo was at least in the fight for a few rounds)

    Hearns -- Dennis Andries

Hagler -- Mugabi (it is the ultimate myth that this was a competetive fight, Mugabi was given a horrendous beating) and poor Tony Sibson

Whitaker -- Pineda, Haugen, Vasquez (Pete looked pudgy but he was masterful)

Olivares -- Castillo III (no headbutt for Chucho this time)

Napoles -- Backus II (amazing the difference Angelo Dundee makes as a cutman)

    Barrera -- Hamed

Duran -- Palomino (I like Palomino, but this is just an incredible display by Duran, he boxed beautifully and landed at will)

Hopkins -- Trinidad (I predicted a one-sided boxing lesson from the moment the tournament was announced and old Hops vindicated me)

Mayweather -- Corrales (dislike Floyd immensely, but this was gorgeous to watch)

Locche- Fuji (sure Fuji wasnt much, just a hard punching one-trick pony, but this is one of the most one-sided boxing matches in history)

Honeyghan trying to touch gloves at the end of rounds midway through the fight signaled how badly outclassed he was and how intimidated he was... beautiful stuff, he was such a boastful cocksucker

It is difficult to go past Barrera-Hamed. The latter was so utterly detestable to my mind, this one was very satisfying. Barrera topped it all off with a very sweet cherry on top --- Hamed's thoroughly perplexed melon into the turnbuckle

Watson-Benn and Watt-Arguello are my personal favourites but there are plenty of good ones also listed here.

You just listed a whole bunch of my all time favourite fights.:mj: Virtuoso performances have by far the most replay time in Hut's vhs/dvd/youtube players.

    Worth adding

    Duran-Cuevas, Moore

    Toney-Williams, Barkley,

    Nunn-Roldan, Tate, Curry

    Curry-Jones

    Napoles-Cokes

Precisely. And his style gives his fights the rewatch value of a badger rotting to mush in timelapse.

    And Lacy was useless.

I preferred Taylor's domination of Lacy. Or Roy's.

Right. So the domination of a now shot and useless fighter is better than the domination of the unbeaten fresh version? Sure. :shit:

    Napoles/Cokes, both times!

"he's a good fighter and damn sure a better fighter than Curtis Cokes"

some of these fights being mentioned aren't what i would call 'schooling'.

for instance, calzaghe-lacy/toney-barkely were heavily one sided BEATDOWNS.

kalambay/mccallum is more of a schooling where the effort of the loser is clearly there, but the other guy's simply a step or two ahead.

no, the part where he had Mercer in the corner in a clinch and turned to the camera and actually said "I sure ain't Tommy Morrison!"

    that was classic

Camacho-Ramirez: the fight that turned Camacho into the most hated boxer by mexican fans.
