Cyborg is vulnerable because she eats punches and you could see how sloppy she can be when she fought Carrano. That said, 20-1 or 25-1 probably isn't wrong against a lot of opponents.
That fight was awful. Should have been 10,000 - 1 It was Hopkins/Hakkar-esque, without the running. :shit:
Finney was WAY out gunned but she showed some serious heart, something Hakkar isn't capable of doing. I was more impressed with how much punishment Finney took than I was with Cyborg.
Does anyone else think the chick referee in this fight was a complete moron? The fight should have been stopped mid way thru the first round. Finney had a ton of heart, but it was stupid to let her stay in there.
Yes, I agree. They should have stopped it in the first round when all Finney was doing was trying to hold Cyborgs leg to avoid the beating.
Outside of the back of the head slaps near the beginning of the fight, Cyborg was actually taking it easy on the poor girl, especially when she went to the canvas. Cyborg kept looking up hoping for the ref to stop it so she wouldn't have to keep beating on the girl. Ridiculous.
I've heard Cyborg is a really nice girl and I'm sure she didn't feel good about having to beat that chick up so bad. Strikeforce better find some girls who can fight or they need to just get rid of female MMA.
I just read that Jan Finney had her orbital bone broken in this fight. She was also paid $6000 for the effort. Damn. That's a tough fucking paycheck right there.
