This is a funny ass thread.

 

My beef with those two is strictly along the lines of moderating policies. It's really a fallout over one incident that has lead to a continuous "debate." I've never been angry at either of them, just the situation and the state of things here.

I've had many more beefs that were worse than that against other people.

 

I actually asked the mods for Joe to be let back, but I let the mods do their job and make the call. It's a no-win situation for me: if I step in and make a decision, I'm supposedly powertripping or being a control freak (even sly used to accuse me of this one). If I stay out of it and let the mods do their job, I get accused of other stuff.

Being a mod is a thankless job. When you do it, you realize that it sucks rather quickly, but you want the forum to run ok without clowns ruining it for everyone else.
