I really think Chavez has a chance here. Sure he's not on the same level as Cotto, but he's much bigger and stronger and younger.

Juarez is an exciting hunter and Chavez can beat Cotto. Sure, why not.

Whatever dick. It's a middleweight against a welterweight.

Somewhere along the way Duddy became a good fighter and Yuri Foreman sucks?

Foreman vs Chavez Jr. is the matchup to be made and Foreman would be a clear favorite. I like Chavez Jr., but Cotto is out of his league.

Foreman is going to face Duddy.

It's not a question of liking Chavez Jr., I don't in fact. But he's a different kind of fighter all together (and bigger) than Foreman.

Did you see the Chavez/Duddy fight?

Foreman is going to dance circles around Duddy. It won't be close.

I don't know that Chavez Jr. is bigger than Foreman--they are both sort of weak, imo. Chavez has a bit more pop and especially with his left hook, but plenty of guys can take his power. Foreman and Chavez Jr. are not all that far apart, I think, which is why I'd like to see them fight.

I didn't see the Chavez Duddy fight because I've seen both of them fight enough to know how it will look. And I don't care if I'm wrong with how it looks because I don't rate either all that high, especially Duddy.

No. Chavez is a different fighter now. And your impression of Chavez Jr. isn't accurate.

Chavez Jr has improved under Roach for sure but he beat Duddy.

I think this fight is still too soon for Chavez, but if he continues to grow like he is under Roach then I think he'd have a decent shot after 2-3 more fights. He looked very good against Duddy. He oughta stay at 160 and make a name for himself there. There isn't really a whole lot going on at 160 and he could probably pick up one of the major belts.

Angulo has a better chance of beating Cotto then acne boy does.

Cotto will beat the hell out of Chavez Jr....punish him till the final bell/the corner saves the boy.

Beating Duddy was a big step up for Jr. in competition, now he need to step up the competition a bit more maybe someone like Kassim Ouma who hasn't won a fight in a while and has been in a fast decline....

Chavez Jr. will never be ready for the best at 154-160 Williams, Martinez, Cintron, Cotto, Dzinziruk, Angulo....

IMO he can't handle even the 2nd-3rd tier guys like Alcine, Powell, Juliio,Latimore, Foreman, Karmazin...

funny some of you keep putting Angulo as something special yet shit on Cintron for any little thing. Yet Cintron beat him convincingly.

I haven't seen Chavez jr. against Duddy but neither had beaten anybody worth a damn so is like chavez jr. beating somebody on his own level to me.

I wanna see the fight to see if he has improved under Roach. Hard to pick Chavez jr against the best at 154 - 160

I have a feeling he will fight for the vacant 154 wbc tittle. It's on a silver platter courtesy of Suleiman!

A very weak junior middleweight against a strong welterweight. Cotto would walk right through him.

I do. Junior is fragile. Unless he's gone through a late onslaught puberty since the last time ive seen him.

He is significantly bigger than Cotto. He might come off as fragile in the past due to his stamina, but now that he's juicing with team Roach he seems very strong.
