What if promoters built shows around different styles?

    Battle of the boxers (slicksters)!

    Pressing on (pressure fighters)!

    Happy hunting (hunters)!

    Head Hunter's Ball (punchers)!

What match-ups would you put on for each of these cards?

Was Donald Curry known to be heavily using?

I know he was known to party a bit and got charged with selling after his career was done, but I haven't heard much about him being an addict.

maybe it has something to do w/ sexual orientation as curry was known to be a flaming homo. not sure if that was the case w/ benitez.

Steve Dave, this thread isn't for you. You're too stupid.

You sit down to watch a fight and apparently, all you see is two guys throwing punches at one another.

And you think to yourself, "ah. that exciting! me like. me like. me want watch more.....eh, i have to take a shit. shall i get up? hey, where's my pants? what's going on? oh, boxing....me like. huh, Double L? Puncher? Hunter? huh? you stupid. i no understand you."

Jeez, you make it sound like I'm the one who invented "hunters", citing Rocky Juarez as the best example.

I think I alluded to it in the, "hunter" thread. A pressure fighter looks to control the pace of a fight through volumes of punches and relentless aggression. He's not setting up for the kill. Everything he does is kill. A hunter, on the other hand, is content to lose rounds, give his opponent confidence, and not force the issue until he sees in his mind an opportunity to short circuit his opponent's nervous system, neutralize him as a threat, and secure the victory.
