Looks like a pretty good card. It will air live on HDNet, which is 3:00 AM EST. That's one for the DVR. DREAM.15 Date: Jul 10, 2010 Location: Saitama Super Arena Venue: Saitama, Japan Broadcast: HDNet (North America) Champion Shinya Aoki vs. Tatsuya Kawajiri (for lightweight title) Melvin Manhoef vs. Tatsuya Mizuno (light-heavyweight grand prix opening round) Gegard Mousasi vs. Jake O'Brien (light-heavyweight grand prix opening round)* Gesias "JZ" Cavalcante vs. Katsunori Kikuno Alistair Overeem vs. TBA* * - Not officially announced TFK
JZ vs Kikuno will be good...Are we doing predictions for this? If so, I'll take Crusher by crushing over Aoki Manhoef by can crush. ......Mousasi vs a wrestler...gee...I don't even know about this one. Mousasi by sub though...plus with DREAM scoring he should win even if he loses. Overeem by can crush. Kikuno beats him standing and either edges a decision or stops him with strikes.
oh okay. I thought i was changed. Thats good. I like that better. Are you certain? This will decide my votes.
Absolutely...unless they changed it in the past event or so...I was just watching Bibiano vs Hansen the other day..
If people want to add it to the prediction contest, we can. But it's still more then a week away, so give it a few days. TFK
I could very well go 2-3 on this. The can crushes are gimmes, but Mousasi has me a bit flustered after his last bout, although O'Brien is no Lawal and it's DREAM scoring. And Kawajiri vs Aoki is obviously pick'em. As is Kikuno vs JZ. Especially with the contrast in styles.
What a disappointment. After his convincing win over Bret Rogers, who does Aleister Overeeem face at Dream 15? Ricco Rodriguez. Really? What, Paul Varelens wasn't available? TFK
Ricco is in shape now and has been on a roll. Not that he's fought anyone good but at least he's serious these days.
:atu: You were expecting something more than a can? Hell, I'm impressed he's fighting Ricco. I was expecting someone on the lines of Wanderson Silva, or Johnathan Ivey. Although in the latter's case, I would've picked Ivey for the upset via People's Elbow. And honestly, Ricco is better than Rogers..
