What Mayweather's staunchest supporters for this match-up do not comprehend is that Mayweather has doubts he can win it.

    Utterly crazy? Think again.

As for the fight itself, I'll believe it when they get off their stools.

I don't know about scared per se, but for those who think it's a slam-dunk & Mayweather will finish streets ahead of him, it appears they think more of Mayweather (less of Pacquiao?) than the man himself.

I wouldn't hazard a guess Mayweather is outright scared of Pacquiao, but I do believe he has a lot more doubt about his chances than some of his supporters. These negotiations are the proof in the pudding of that, IMO.

Probably because you're not the one stepping in the ring with Pacman, Noble. Easy enough for you to say from your armchair that Floyd wins this handily. As if Pacman is just gonna roll over and die for Floyd that easily.
There's a reason why this fight isn't getting signed and it's because Floyd knows this could be a very difficult fight for him. This ain't a 39 year old deteriorated old fart with a string of losses he's going up against here.

Yep. Not only doubts that he can beat Pacman but also knows full well that the possibility of a loss could erase everything Floyd has ever achieved in his overall impressive resume. He knows when people talk about greatness down the line, he won't be part of the topic. Especially not with a loss to Pacquaio on his resume. And if there's anybody out there who can give Floyd his first loss, it's Pacman.

He has very little confidence in himself. Floyd fans are on par with Tyson fans. Delusional.

There was supposed to be a media ban that they agreed to but like the sleazeball assholes Arum and team Pac are they continue to negotiate through the media and tiny minded Pac fans eat it up.

The reason Mosely looked so bad and got so tired and sluggish in the fight is because he couldn't take his steroids. Pac is terrified of the same thing happening to him. Anyone who thinks Pac isn't juicing is delusional.

I actually had a dream last night that they signed the fight but by then interest had wanned a bit so they got 15 million a piece instead of the 20 or so they've been saying.

Pac Consented to Random Testing Up Until 14 Days Prior to the Fight...REED is IGNORANT to the Effects of PED's, but Can't Imagine there Being an APPRECIABLE Benefit, After Only 2 Weeks....

If Floyd DOESN'T Take this Fight it Means he Really DOESN'T Give a Flying Fuck about his Boxing Legacy...

I think that this proves that Floyd never cared about cleaning up the sport and having Pac do the testing. He was scared the whole time and was just using that as an excuse.

So that means Floyd should've signed this fight a year ago seeing how easy a fight it seems to be....on paper.

Floyd will sign or Arum will suddenly extend the deadline. Too much money on the table and all parties involved won't go through this again...would burn too many bridges.

Floyd did the same for the DLH fight...think the Hatton fight as well.

So what if he landed them at will? And I'd hardly say that was the case by the way, considering Clottey threw about 15 punches a round - you think his plan was to throw no punches?

Anyways, ok. Let's pretend your premise isn't false - that Clottey did land at will. Well, did it help him any? Did he win more than two rounds?

    So what's the point?

Floyd is faster, sharper and harder to hit than Clottey. It's easy to throw 1,000 punches against a guy who covers up and stands in front of you.

its a silly reason if that is legitimately his excuse. his uncle brings nothing to the table in the corner other than familiarity.

So then why is he chicken sh*tting out of the fight? There's more than meets the eye here Muzse. On paper, it totally looks like a cakewalk the way you're describing it. Floyd obviously is wary of Pacman's challenge. He just doesn't want the fight at all, even despite the ridiculous money in the pot.

well in a big fight like this you'd want to be as comfortable as possible...stick to your routines.

regardless, I hope Roger's ass goes to jail.

And like you said...if Floyd doesn't sign off because of this then fuck him and the fight. It'll go a long way toward ruining his credibility...even he most ardent fans can't support him after this.

I believe he will sign or Arum will blink and find a reason to extend the deadline.

I hate Floyd as much if not more as the next guy but I don't think for a second he's afraid to fight Pac. This is a control issue. he saw how Oscar handled him at the negotiating table...he took what Oscar offered and Oscar dictated everything.

I believe Floyd's ego won't allow for Pac to have the upperhand in any possible situation. he wants to do to pac what Oscar did to him but it's not shaking out like that. The longer he stalls the worse it looks for him.

That's what I feel is going on here...Floyd's ego won't allow him to be wary of anyone. he will sign.

    I tend to agree.

Wish he would just throw ego out of the window though and sign the motherfucking contract..beat Pac's ass and silence his haters (except Double L) for good.
