The only one of the list I'd give him no chance with is Manny. He'd be a live underdog vs Bradley and Alexander, though at this point he prob loses to both. He'd also have a very legit chance at KOing the Con man if he connects. He'd always beat Paulie, and Urango.
Bradley? No way Zab beats Bradley unless he quick flashes a few rounds and gets an accidental head butt type stoppage where it goes to the cards. "Prime" Judah (whatever that is) would get beaten down by Bradley as well.
judah looked good tonight against a no-chin lightweight who was never really good to begin with. i think he beats urango and paulie, but that's not even a sure thing. bradley beats him down and alexander outpoints him.
Hmm...50/50 fight, at this stage. I'd probably lean towards Judah he's the far better boxer & better puncher & I'd fancy his chin to be slightly better. Judah within 4.
He would beat Paulie. Paulie has nothing to hurt him. Judah is faster than Paulie. It would be a less dominant version of Khan´s fight with Paulie. Tough to find a slower fighter than Urango, but despite that he always has his moments. He even connected with some solid leather againt Alexander, before he was knocked out. 70/30 in Judah´s favour, but Urango has a real shot here, despite the speed difference. Khan has never fought an opponent as fast and powerful as him, which would make that an intriguing fight. Youth favours Khan, but wouldn´t shock me if Judah caught him. Still 70/30 in Khan´s favour. Don´t give Judah any chance to beat Alexander or Bradley. Both have proven to have sturdy chins and they are simply better all-around fighters. I forgot Pacquiao is a slightly slower version of Baldomir, that would be 50/50.
Id favour him over everyone on the list except pacman. Judah has a great offence and being back in his prime division and having a great attitude should put him back on top.
Well Timmy is improving more and more with every fight. What I DO know is that I'd pick a younger Zab to KO the Bradley we saw vs Kendall Holt. But I think Bradley is better now. But still, Bradley has become somewhat overrated, and a prime Judah has become UNDERRATED. People act as if he was some bum or something. Zab has only lost once at 140.
Who has Judah lost to? Cotto.....Mayweather....Tszyu.....Clottey....Baldomir....in other words a class of fighter who is probably a cut above the vast majority of guys listed above.
Only one of the above losses were at 140. I wouldnt be totally fooled by last night. Make no mistake about it, Zab is past his prime. He's nowhere near as quick, or as sharp now as he was in his original 140 career. I'd pick the pre-Tszyu Judah to beat any of the current jrn welters. None of these guys can compare to Tszyu.
Can't imagine there's much of a chance Golden Boy would make that fight, but yeah, that'd definitely have some intrigue. If HBO's going to try and make 140 a focus, there should be room for Judah against one of these guys. He also draws better than a lot of the guys in the division.
He will surely lose to Pacquiao...and beat Malignaggi. He would have blasted everyone else on that list a few years ago...but today who knows.
