........Not according to fetish-fanatic Steve Kim, who gushes:

"Just recently, junior welterweight titleholder Tim Bradley- who faces Carlos Abregu on Saturday night as the headline performer on HBO from the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California- made the cover of The Ring magazine.

It figures to be the first of many appearances where he appears on “The Bible of Boxing†but it seems like it won’t be too long before he is featured on Muscle and Fitness or Flex magazines.

Because, in short, “The Desert Storm†is ripped.

He is as chiseled as a statue of a Greek god and as muscularly defined as any bodybuilder. And this isn’t one of those guys that are built like Tarzan and fights like Jane; Bradley is considered one of the best fighters in the sport, pound-for-pound."

It's not surprising that the Mexboxing people have fallen in love with a non-Europoid midget. What is surprising is that a guy whose biggest wins are over Junior Witter and Kendall Holt is now suddenly one of the best fighters "Pound for Pound".

Much like Hulk Hogan before him, Tim "Pound for Pound" Bradley has achieved all of this with prayer, soy milk and good genetics. He is a real American.

    "
“I’ve been doing that type of diet. Just a lot of grains, fruits, lots of vegetables. For my protein source, I use soy and I also use hemp. It’s what I’ve been doing for the last two years or so. I don’t know if you guys see the amount of energy I have in the ring going into the 12th and I think I have an advantage..............."Genetics has a lot to do with it; my mother had a great physique when she was a lot younger. My dad still has a great physique. And plus hard work, as well," Bradley added. "I started lifting weights when I was eight years old so that should explain a lot of things. I started doing push-ups and sit-ups at five years old. So it started young and you eat healthy and you take care of your body, you can look like that."

We need more people like Tim Bradley in our Sport. More people who have fit mommas and who eat grains and soy.

Well, unless he fights Floyd Mayweather, we may never know. But I do feel reassured to some extent knowing that with all this experience speculating about who is on PEDs, many fightbeat posters have developed a keen eye for determining their use based on just looking at a fighter. This is a rare skill indeed.

I wonder if I could get hired by the PBF camp to be their "PED scope", where I am a paid consultant who goes through video of potential opponents and decides who does and does not look like they are on PEDs? Sometimes it's just a certain twist of the head, a snicker, an odd smile, even a haircut... but that's all it takes for me to spot 'em.

He doesn't performs like he's on steroids. Maybe those weight-shedding steroids or muscle growing ones. But his endurance is not superhuman and he ain't that strong. wink wink Pac.

Being chiseled does not mean you are on steroids. Lots of people can get that ripped because all you need to do is lift medium weight and do a bunch of reps.

If he was that ripped, and had a ridiculously strong punch, then I'd be suspicious. But he's just a damn fit boxer......nothing inordinate at all, except that he pays so much mind for fitness when it really doesn't help him as much as physical strength, although he does have pretty good conditioning.

THat is NOT all you have to do, to look like Bradley... In fact, Bradley is a freak of nature, there are very few people who will ever look that chiseled with the best training in the world. He has just really good genetics...

Both those guys have gained allot of muscle through their career though. Bradley hasn't. Bottom line is we need decent testing though, otherwise everyone with a sexy six pack or a hard left hook's open to this.:warning:

There are oodles of bodybuilders who look like that or better. You just need to train for years to do so. People act like he's benching 550....

Now that is a genetic freak.

Hell, one of my good friends in high school looks like that. A junior runningback on the football team...not overly impressive..

It's not a rare skill. You look at someone who has abnormally low body fat and abnormally large musculature for the weight class and you say they look like they are taking PEDs.

I would bet that hagler, eubank, tyson, bradley, mayweather, bruno, zab, lacy have all done PEDs. I might be wrong on some of them, but I would be amazed if I was wrong on all of them and surprised if wrong on most of them. I would be outright amazed if pacq hasn't used PEDs.

Boxers don't have a natural reason to look like shredded bodybuilders and for somewhat near a century, very few did no matter how hard they worked out. Now...?

I know you know much more about PEDs than I do, so I'm all ears if you want to tell me why i'm wrong or if you disagree with my candidates.

Yeah and there are billions of people, now how many men in hundred look like Bradley?

The fact remains that low weight and just a lot of reps won't get you there...

As I said, a close friend of mine that was only 16 looks like that. And another one of my schoolmates that graduated two years ago was more jacked than Bradley, that guy had muscles everywhere on his body, I think Bradley only had tighter abs...maybe(also a runningback on the football team)

So no, not very unusual or shocking.

then put them on the suspected PED user list, too. It's not as if male students don't use them.

See how easy this is?

But, just as my accuse everyone who looks the part isn't fair, neither is your assumption that your friends don't use based on wishful thinking

Steroids don't enhance punching power, though.

I'm sure his genetics are not hurting him, however, his physique is not as impossible as it may look to some. A similar body can be achieved, in fact, without any weights at all.

Sprint training will promote a physique similar to Bradley's photo.
