The article suggest that the meeting will be to discuss mainly co-promotion of fight cards, BUT why team Cotto has to do this when they already got their own Miguel Cotto Promotions? If Mayweather ends up signing to fight Cotto, THEN it will be proof he ducked Pacquiao. All the excuses of his uncle Roger not being in the corner bla bla bla will be a lot of bullshit.
Hey...Mayweather is finally getting around the fighting the guys he should have fought back in 2007-2008?!?! Now that they are shot or near shotness he has mustard up enough guts to fight them.....maybe if Margarito really gets pounded badly by Pacquiao, Mayweather will finally fight him... I said this on another site and I'll say it here. What the fuck does Floyd get out of this fight except money and another win on his "perfect" record? Seriously, think about it. One of the MAJOR knocks on Floyd is that his choice of opposition has been less than what many would want. That he's picked people to fight that he has no chance of losing. So what would fighting a Cotto that got destroyed by Manny and possibly broken by Margarito (possibly using loaded gloves against Cotto) get for Floyd? How would this be anything BUT the same old same old? This is a ridiculous fucking match and I can't believe people actually are clamoring for this (and I've seen cats practically drooling over this fight like it was three or four years ago or something).
If this fight is made I can already see how PBF is going to sell this fight, " Cotto looked great @154 beating the undefeated Foreman easily blah, blah, blah..................................
