I bet this is another catch weight bullshit. With Pacquiao coming in at 150 to win the 154 belt. I remember both Arum and Roach once mentioned this when the proposed the Yuri Foreman fight for Pacquiao at 154.

I really can't see what's attractive about this fight. Putting aside the fact that Margarito shouldn't be fighting anymore, How competitive can it actually be?

Fuck the size cause Pacquiao already showed he can ko welterweights. I think it will be another fight like Pacquiao/Delahoya. Where Margarito probably won't go down but will be overwhelmed with too many shots he won't see and somebody will eventually stop it.

Well, Pacquiao CAN'T Sit Around Waiting on Mayweather...As Others have Said, Margarito DOESN'T Deserve the Payday, but Who's BETTER Equipped, to Administer the Type of ASSWHIPPING that Margarito Deserves, than Pacquiao???...

Obviously, REED Would Rather the Fight Happen in Cowboy's Stadium, but he'll WATCH It Either Way...

2011 it is then for Mayweather-Pacquiao. Shame, shame, shame. I wonder if Pac-Marg is going to be at a catchweight.

Have to assume one reason Margarito might be selected is that, because of his current status, he won't get nearly the same dollars Cotto would.

Rafael mentioned Cotto-Berto had some potential...we'll see.

good point. I also expect team Pac to put stipulations on how much Margarito can rehydrate just like they did to Cotto.

Fucking hell. He's throwing Pac in with Tony at 154!? Roach should be stepping in at this point & looking after his fighter's interests since Arum clearly is out only for Arum.

My thoughts exactly! I'm sure they will have stipulations on how much Tony can rehydrate fight night. I thought Margarito was a threat @147 let alone 154! Very dangerous fight IMO.

Margarito never really done anything at 154. He struggled against Santos twice. But his size and his height will be ENORMOUS over Pacquaio. Good thing he never fights tall.

If Pacquaio wins and defends against Williams, then it's game set and match, Mayweather NEVER comes out of retirement again.:scared2:

Pacquiao will need a stool to connect on Williams.

What a fucking joke. Jr. Middle is 154 and so they are fighting @ 150 for the 154 belt?

I can't wait to see Pacman give Margarito the asswhipping of all asswhippings.

This will be worse than the Mosley fight.

I agree. Most of Pacs recent fights had been catch weights. I think it's bullshit. Too many stipulations giving him the advantage. It's a real shame because many will question this when its all said and done.

I don't see Pacquiao having any weight advantage. Margacheato can make welterweight easily, so making a 150 lbs catchweight will be a piece of cake for him. If the bout is held in Mexico, I'll put my money on Margacheato upseting Manny even via stoppage: the mexican boxing comissioners will look the other way when Tony puts bricks in his gloves. If the bout goes the distance the judges will give the decision to Margacheato. Remember: Sulaiman is Tony's #1 fan and he salivates to crown him not only as champion but as the conqueror of the #1 P4P boxer in the world! Pacquiao can ONLY win via KO. There is no other way in Mexico against a local idol.

WBC Jr. middleweight 150 pound title.

    http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=29542

Pacquiao is just as pathetic as Mayweather forcing all his bullshit weight stipulations on his opponents. Next up Sergio Martinez for the 142 pound middleweight title, followed by Andre Ward and the 152 pound super-middleweight title. :shit::shit:

yep, that's the thing I really don't like with Pac. I could live with it if we had only the original 8 weight class, but as of now, it's ridiculous. If the WBC had any integrity, it would refuse to sanction it unless this stipulation is removed.

I hear what you are saying, but keep in mind these are almost the exact same reactions that we had when DLH-Pacman was announced.
