Those two definitely. Bigfoot, KJ Noons, Roger Bowling, Tyron Woodley, Shane Del Rosario, Bobby Lashley, Nick Diaz, Jacare, Gilbert Melendez, Josh Thomson.

    That's about it..

Mousasi for sure. Dana White expressed great interest in him couple months back. Sure it was prior to the MO loss but still I don't think that loss would change his mind that much.

Why would you say that? That's ridiculous. You're saying the UFC wouldn't pick up the top 3 HW's in strikefore if they were all free agents?

    I thinik you're tripping son!

I agree. They would definitely go after Werdum and Fedor. Dana would love to have the rematch as a UFC PPV Main Event with the winner getting the Cain-Brock winner.

The UFC could then, without a doubt, claim to have the best HW's in the world.

I disagree. Dana is too full of himself to do that. Maineventing a UFC with a guy who never fought for them before against a UFC "reject" ? No way. He might throw it on the undercard but no way he main events with that. Fedor and Werdum are not what you call UFC guys hence he's not gonna have some outside talent mainevent his ppvs.

I have to disagree with this. If Strikeforce is out of the way and Dana sees no other orgs out there as a reasonable threat anymore, and Fedor agreeing to sign with him, Dana would be all over his nuts in a heartbeat.

Do you really see Dana headlining a UFC ppv with Werdum vs Fedor?

Ya but that's not my point. My point is Dana has too much pride to let to strikeforce guys headline his shit

Nah, not if Strikeforce is gone. If Strikeforce is out of the picture, he wouldn't feel threatened and it would be game on.

Not really, they tried that already, and Fedor according to Dana wanted half the business.

Also Dana does most of the negotiating.

Werdum is not a UFC reject, he was never cut from the UFC. He was trying to renegotiate his contract and then he lost to Dos Santos which was the last fight on his contract. This obviously didn't help Werdum in negotiations so he looked for other options and went to Strikeforce. He left because he wanted to, not because he was cut.

The idea that Werdum was released due to performance is nonsense. There are many guys STILL in the UFC that have done much worse than Werdum.

I typically respect Dana White, but he is full of shit when he refers to Werdum as a guy that couldn't make it in the UFC.

Really? He beat Gonzaga and Vera and their both still with the UFC.. Nice try Dana.

    Not true.

Werdum was asked to take a pay cut and refused, do was released.

Doesn't mean shit, if th UFC doesn't want you, you go to SF or whatever. The UFC flat out didn't want Werdum. He got brutally KO'd, they wanted him to take less money, he refuse so they said good riddance.

How is that not performance based? He lost to a complete nobody at the time and was 2-2 in the UFC. Had he won the fight he would still be there.

He wanted more money, then he lost, he was then offered a new contract and did not accept. He was never officially cut.

I think they would definitely sign Melendez. They really need some new blood at LW.

    Mo
    Mousasi
    Fedor
    Overeem
