http://www.ufc.com/index.cfm?fa=eventDetail.Home&eid=3377 Jon Jones vs. Vladimir Matyushenko Mark Munoz vs. Yushin Okami John Howard vs. Jake Ellenberger Tyson Griffin vs. Takanori Gomi Paul Kelly vs. Jacob Volkmann DeMarques Johnson vs. Mathew Riddle James Irvin vs. Igor Pokrajac Brian Stann vs. Mike Massenzio
Speaking of lazy, this prediction might be inept if TRP doesn't get the 116 data. Although I may take over for him if he stops. Jones by relatively close decision via outgrappling. Okami breaks Mark Munoz's fragile jaw. The most dangerous pick on the card, but I'll go with Ellenberger as he's just a much better fighter. Unless he gets caught, he should win by anything he wants. Tyson Griffin is better than shot Gomi at everything, and wins accordingly.
Gomi's still in his prime and I hope this win will get him back to the Gomi we are used to seeing in Pride.
well, he's taking pretty much no dammage from there so awful may be too harsh a word. Howard is just nothing, his stand up skills are primitive, only thing going for him is power
I don't think I've ever seen a fighter this tall that good on the ground before this kids a freak of nature.
Me too. Although I really don't think Evans has much of a shot. I think we are really lucky enough to see a future mega star and PPV guy in the making. I'm aware he hasn't faced top contenders yet, but the way he is destroying middle of the pack guys is amazing. Vera, Bonnar, Hamill and now Matyushenko were all handled like they never trained MMA a day in their life. That's special.
Matyushenko is pretty much done, he's way past his best. Jones needs to be fighting tougher competition. Wouldn't mind seeing a fight with a Thiago Silva or Lil Nog, or possibly even Ricardo Arona.
okay guys......Evans is right now, the number 2 LHW in the world and the number one contender, he's a proven fighter. I don't see how you couldn't give Evans a shot when Evans has already beaten some of the best guys in the division.
Evans deserves to be one of the top 205 pounders in the UFC. I just don't think he's good enough to beat Jones. Evans has some nice wins under his belt. But he has also looked normal in many fights. The punch and shoot BS that he employed versus Silva and Rampage won't get it done against Jones in my opinion. I think it's pointless anyway. I see Jones fighting someone like Ortiz, Griffin or Franklin in his next fight. Someone thats top 10 but borderline.
Tito isn't top 10, he isn't even borderline. Tito is probably going to join Mark Coleman in retirement soon after he loses to Hamill.
