I say either Ortiz, Griffin or Franklin. If Franklin is healed up soon enough, he would be my preference.
Thiago Silva, Forrest Griffin, Rich Franklin, Bader/Lil Nog or Ricardo Arona all would be interesting.
Anybody BUT Anderson Silva & REED Agrees...Wanderlai, Thiago or WHOMEVER Else, Jon Jones is Ready for ANY "Silva" Other than Anderson... REED:hammert:
The way Bones put away VM was sick. I would probably pick VM over most of the guys that I see being posted for next fights for Jon. Forrest Griffin is a face, Jones has beat better guys than him. I would love to see the fight against Lil Nog. Jones destroys Arona at any point in his career.
Right, so the so called GOAT of MMA couldn't beat him, more less destroy him and yet an unproven Greco wrestler will. Yeah okay. Jones would be lucky to walk away with his limbs, he makes a fair amount of mistakes in grappling and has holes in his sub defense and he's not pulling a fluky powerbomb KO like Rampage(headbutt aside), he's not nearly as strong. Furthermore, the only person to destroy a prime Arona is the most talented mixed martial artist to ever put on the gloves. Jones is becoming laughably overhyped here.
Bones should be given a test by Thiago Silva. Silva is no slouch and he'd probably chincheck Bones at some point. Most likely Bones gets him down and elbow strikes him into a ref stoppage. There's always the possibility of a submission on Jones' part. Heck, if Thiago landed something heavy, that fight could get VERY interesting.
That's THE ONLY Remaining "Gray Area", Involving Jon "Bones" Jones...HOW Does he Respond to ADVERSITY???...Can he TAKE a Good Shot???... EVERY Fighter (MMA, Boxing or Otherwise) WILL Get Chin Checked @ SOME Point...It's All About How that Fighter HANDLES the Chin Check... REED:shadow:
