    Honestly, im shocked by the outcome of this thread. Shocked. Especially with three posters particular. Two of those three i have posted boxing with for 10 years. But i guess things change and people change. Sad day at fightbeat IMO

    Because how its run stops the best fighters from fighting each other. Because it puts on shit undercards and charge you 55 bucks for it.
    Because it puts on Shit main events and charge you 55 bucks for it.
    Because you have two of the best fighters in the world not wanting to fight each other, while the promoters in the back acting innocent.
    Because you have HBO & Showtime, who rather than show you undercards, decide to talk for 45 minutes until the fighters are ready.
    Because now you have everyone concerned about Ped this and Peds that, and test this and test that, while the NSAC sits back and doesnt do a damn thing about it. They can solve all this bullshit by making olympic style testing mandatory. But no. Lets just keep fucking the fans.
    Because when something finally positive happens like the Super 6, and you think, Wow this is great. This might be a trend. Ends up not getting noticed and the big 3 promoters continue to think about only themselves.
    Because we cant get fucking instant replay in boxing, which can actually do some real good in the sport.
    Because we dont have set rules across the nation and even canada. Set rules that everyone has to follow. So a garbage fuck like margarito can be banned in Cali, and still fight in another state.

    There are many reasons why i give a flying fuck.

    But hey just call me a liar again and disregard my post.

    Posting about boxing in that forum used to get your post deleted. Maybe that's changed now. I think you'll find that is the reason for the resentment in this thread rather than mma itself. If I ever watch more mma, I'll post in that section but my policy is that if I can't speak intelligently on a subject, I won't join in the discussion.

    Anyway, I can't see any lie in what Dana said. Sure he's got a reason to shit on boxing but the faults are there for him to point to.

    MMA can do the same thing that boxing does, yet where boxing will get critizised MMA will get props.

    People say boxing has too many PPV's yet MMA has 1-2 every month.
    If a fight ends in 1 round in MMA it's a great fight, in boxing it's a mismatch.
    If a boxer earns millions hes overpaid by the promoters.
    In MMA you can put guys with 2, 3, 4 ,5 fights on the undercard and have them fighting each other and it's a great undercard, in boxing thats seen to be trash.
    Mayweather and Pac are not fighting in boxing, which is just like Silva and GSP not fighting each other wasting their time with guys with no shot at winning like Sonnen and Koscheck, or Dana White flat out refusing to co-promote Fedor to fight Lesnar.
    Boxing has too many champions which is true, but the people that really follow boxing understand this and know who the best fighters in the divisions are. Also the fact that boxers can fight each other no matter who they are promoted by.
    In boxing if there is a bad decision then boxing is corrupt, in MMA it's ok you shouldn't leave it in the hands of the judges.

    1. Fedor did fight for the best Orginzation. He fought for Pride. Which at the time was better than the UFC.

    2. The Ped situation isnt stopping fights from happening in the UFC. Simple

    3. I dont want other divisions and promoters to do a Simple six, i would like to do something positive for the fans. Get to together and discuss things. Fight each other, etc. Margarito hasnt gotten a license some where else, but he could. Thats ridiculous.

    4. This isnt even about MMA. Why the fuck would i talk about MMA on this board? MMA has its own issues, but MMA is on the rise and boxing is on the decline. They need to both be on the rise. They should both be even. IN fact, with boxing's history, it should be on a different level.

    Considering Chavez Jr. has had no Amateur experience and just jumped right into Pros, shows a lot to me. And now he is being considered to fight Miguel Cotto for the belt? Seems legit to me. As for Haye, when he fights the champ, let me know.

    Reed you clearly want to argue. You make this more about MMA than boxing. The has nothing to do with MMA. If you want to talk MMA, bring this whole argument into the MMA section. I will gladly talk to you about it there. I will say that your arguments are silly and you are completely off base. The only thing you talked about in this post is Maragrito's license.

    But its silly. Its not just about Margarito, its about the fact that he can get one. Just like Velero got one, Just like Mesi got one. Because all the states dont follow the same guidlines.

    Again, bring the othe arguments into the MMA section. This isnt a boxing vs. MMA thread.
