Anyone have one of these at home? If so is it possible to set it up temporarily (ie hook it up when you're using it, put it away)?

Also, is it possible to just hook it up to a weight at the bottom or something so you dont have a ruddy big hook sticking out your floor?

Make the hook on the bottom detachable. I don't have a double end bag, but it seems like if you have a concrete floor and it's your own house, get a cement gun and screw something into the floor.

Aye, I think I solved the problem 15 seconds after posting. Just get a concrete block heavy enough to stay on the ground and screw the bottom hook into that. Then when Im not using it just stick the block away and unhook. Saves screwing it in and out every time. Think I have a perfect sized block for the job actually. Just need to wear shoes incase I stub my toe!

Found a cheap as chips double end bag on ebay as well.:shadow: Been itching for something to whack for a while since I stopped training boxing. It's gonna take quite a licking!

You can buy bottom anchor weights for most double end bags.

I haven't measured them in awhile but they are actually a bit bigger than my neck right now. If I did a front double biceps with a t-shirt on, my arms look almost as big as my head.

It gets me laughing when I think about that twat on BF talking about his workouts. He'd have been lucky to lift ankle weights when I met him, and he only started hefting iron after I left Chicago. He was a decent enough boxer but not very physically strong.:Giggle:

Don't post those pictures; I was young and needed the money. [IMG]
