Yeah but Silva's still a fish out of water on his back though.The thing is Takase's not that good but he had the perfect style to beat Silva.
You do realize that black belt is a total gift right? He trained with the Noguerias for about two years off and on and he is magically at the black belt level. riiiiiight. :bangh: Don't get me wrong, his ground game improved immensely from training with the Nog's but by no means is he at a black belt level in BJJ.
Pretty sure he tooled Marquardt, Henderson and subbed Lutter with his grappling. The one aspect of his game that's grossly underrated. Also BJ got his black belt in like 3 years, and I'm pretty sure Gunnar got his in about the same...
