Cloud is a terrific fighter, Otis. A fight between Cloud and Henry will be a natural, a throwback war of the great Philly fights of the 70's. I wouldn't be too anxious for Chris to get in the ring with him just yet, though. After Henry wins the WBA Title from Shumenov, and defends it against Campillo, and stops Shumenov again in a return, then I think will be the right time for them to meet in 2012 for all the marbles in the division. You are a live one in the mix Otis, you are number 11 now by the WBA off of those two big wins with one of them being over a former world champion, and I read on fightnews where you have another one coming up shortly. Look out for Otis, folks, he's making a lot of noise in the division. Karl
are you guys talking "Cloud computing" ? http://www.infoworld.com/d/cloud-computing/what-cloud-computing-really-means-031
Yes. Cloud was supose to be my first NABO defense back in 2007 he opp to not take the fight. If he wins it will be better for the LHW division; yet he has his work cut out. One way or another I get one of them by Feb. 2011.:stir:
Cloud cannot punch. Roy Jones slapped Clinton Woods around and stopped him in 6. Old man Woods then took Cloud the distance like 8 years later.
The same old fart who just beat the tar out of Yussef Mack & went within one round of drawing with P4Per Chad Dawson? That old fart?
Well, I heard Woods collapsed in his dressing room with his eyes rolled back and his tongue flickering like that of a typical drunken Irishman,.. he must be able to sock a white sack of chicken grains alright, just by the sounds of it.
In fairness, if Cloud is anything special, he had better win fairly conclusively. Johnson is in his 40s, and its not like he's awkward and tricky like Hopkins, he's just rugged and active...Cloud's aggression and workrate, coupled with his youth, should make result in the older guy wilting towards the end
Yeah I think he'll need to prove, not only that he can beat an aging fighter at his own game, but ideally, give the indication in his performance that he's better than Johnson ever was, or indicate showing the potential that he will be a better fighter than Johnson was at his 'peak'. Then the 'bandwagon' can roll on,.. if not,.. people might want to leap out for a little while.
Very good eye! His power is over rated and he is tense and tight causing his work rate to slow after 8. Very built up record up to Julio Gonzales fight. Woods is not the same of old and Gonzales should have his boxing Lic taken. Cloud looks like the product of match making to me but we will see in a few hours!
Cloud is a pimp, he has a bit of qawi in him, the way he fights inside, but he's way more tense and nervous in the ring, a bit like mosley. I think he'll whoop Johnson
Cloud is a weird dude. Same shit he did against Gonzalez and Woods. Once he has the other guy hurt he steps off the gas.
yea, he's explosive in spurts. it's not really working too well against johnson's who knows how to deal w/ sporadic onslaughts. fight's close enough for cloud to get a controversial win though.
Cloud needs to step it up and get a TKO win here, he looks like he's getting gassed as well. Corner tells him don't push with him, means he's wearing out.
Anothr embarrassment for the young generation of boxing. How is he getting outworked by a dead 41 year old. :kick:
Walcott, Duran, Cloud's corner can tell him anything he wants, and I like that, but he's stinking out the joint now.
That being said, I´m glad Glen Johnson made enough money to buy himself some Evan Fields support. His workrate is ridiculous for a 41 years old. At least Hopkins and Holyfield aren´t throwing 1000 punches at age 41.
