"B.M.F." Stands for "Baaaaaaaaaaaad MotherFucker", F.Y.I....Silva's Even Got a WALLET w/the Words Stitched On it, like Samuel L. Jackson....

Is Anderson Silva SLIPPING???....Clearly...But he's STILL Got MORE than Enough in the Tank, to ENHANCE his Legacy, as he Did Last Night...Chael Sonnen Talked the Talk then WALKED the WALK for MORE than 4 Rounds...Like MOST, REED ASSumed the Fight was OVER 1nce Sonnen Got Silva To the Ground (Yet AGAIN) in Round 5....

Joe Rogan Even Said, "Is it Tooo EARLY for Chael to Start Celebrating", to Begin Round 5...

What we Saw Last Night was the HEART, WILL, TOUGHNESS & DETERMINATION of Anderson Silva...Often, he Makes it Look Sooooooooooooo EASY to the Point that Critics DOUBTED he Possessed the Aforementioned INTANGIBLES...Last Night FOREVER Put those Doubts TO REST...

Against a YOUNGER, STRONGER, CONFIDENT Fighter (who Virtuallly DOMINATED him), Anderson Silva Pulled a TRIANGLE Out of his Ass & Made Sonnen TAPthefuckOUT...Sonnen had DOMINANT Position All Fight Loooooooong, yet TAPPED from that Same Position...

Besides the Dramatic Finish, REED was VERY Impressed w/Silva's CHIN, Unwavering Competitive ARROGANCE & the Way he MOVED his Head while On Bottom...REED Also Likes how AGGRESSIVELY Silva Started Round 4 AND how ANIMATED he Was to Start Round 5...Dude had EVERY Reason to Pack it In, Fight just to SURVIVE & Accept his Inevitable Unanimous Decision LOSS...

    But he DIDN'T...

Silva Actually SLIPPED to the Canvas in Round 5 & that Gave the OVERWHELMING Sense that it was just Sonnen's Night...Then, Out of NOWHERE, Silva Pulls a SUBMISSION Out of his Ass...

EXCELLENT Fight, JAW DROPPING Finish & a No-Brainer INSTANT RE....

REED was VERY Amused by Sonnen's Pre-Fight Verbal Excrement, but he EARNED REED's Respect by BACKING UP his Words....It was TOUCHING how Silva Got On his Knees & Paid Tribute to Sonnen, Afterwards...It was Also Cool how CLASSY Sonnen was in Defeat..."I Came in 2nd"..."For Now, I Got the Silver Medal"...For what it's Worth, Sonnen is Now FOREVER on REED's "MMA Radar"...

Coolest Part of All was when Silva Put his UFC Title Belt AND his BJJ Black Belt Over his Shoulders, After the Fight...

Anderson's legs, are one of the best weapons in MMA I've ever seen, they're like swiss army knives, people used to hype on about Cro-cop,..but all he did was kick,... Anderson uses them like another pair of arms, only when clipped in triangle formations, legs can produce more boa-constricter type of strength than your arms ever can, his knees are like spurs too,.. Anderson is a great example of what a formidable MMA fighter is,.. unlike champions of the past like Chuck Liddell who was just a sloppy scrub boxer, the talent really dipped when Chuck was champ.

Glad to see you appreciating all aspects of the sport brother Reed. See, even us boxing guys can appreciate the art of groundfighting as well. :partie:

I thought it was a pretty boring sloppy fight, sure the ending saved it ( wich I miss btw as I was sure Sonnen was gonna take a decision ) but was shocked at how Silva was taken down so easilly and worst of all, outstruck by Sonnen who is pretty much a blanket . Silva is past it, suspect it as much in the Maia fight when he tried to hide his shortcoming by clowning, but yesterday fight pretty much confirmed it.

As should be expected. This is a young mans sport. These guys can't be expected to keep winning forever. This is a fast moving, quickly evolving sport. I'd rather just celebrate what he has done thus far. Slowing down at 35 is pretty much a given.

While the Fight Certainly Became PREDICTABLE, REED Can't Say that he Found it "Boring"...Sonnen was WORKING Anderson Silva & it was SHOCKING to Behold...Knowing the Result Upfront Takes Some of the Excitement Out of the 1st 4 Rounds, but REED was on the Edge of his Seat, During the LIVE Broadcast...

Uhhh. This has nothing to do with the fact that Anderson is slipping. Your post makes no sense.

He might. I mean Sonnen has clearly improved his game since his last lost. He might still improve. I am not ruling out he doesnt win a rematch. Sonnen believes in hard work and when that fails, he believes in harder work. The man has a great mindset. Heart and determination got him where he is today.

If someone was bored watching that fight live then they didn't know anything about Anderson Silva before the fight.

Despite Sonnen's dominance, Silva was a live wire with the potential to shock Sonnen at any minute. And at the start of each round, until Sonnen took Silva down, anything could happen as we saw when Silva finally landed and knocked Sonnen down.

I agree with you. There was a ton of ground and pound but the fight was never predictable or boring for a second. Hell, I think I held my breath for a 20 of the 23 minutes.

I love all the guys saying Silva is passed it. Fucking Classic! It could not have been more predictable. I think BTG even said it would happen!

I never said he was passed his prime before the Sonnen fight :dunno:

To be honest I wasn't sure till the Sonnen fight. He looked old Saturday night,he couldn't even get the better of Sonnen at what he does best which is striking.Sonnen was good enough to expose what some people suspected, that Silva is slipping.Sonnen wins the rematch IMO

props to Sonnen for the biggest choke job in sports history. Beat up a guy for 23 minutes who came into the fight with an injury and still lose.

But besides that this fight shows that Anderson is the best p4p fighter right now, GSP would have tapped in the 1st round under that pressure and BJ gave up under simular circumstances against GSP in their rematch.

Sonnen "out stuck" Silva in the first round only by landing a shot that rocked him, then Anderson let's Sonnen hit him. For the rest of the fight, Sonnon didn't want anything to do with Anderson standing. Anderson would attack at the start of every round and end up getting taken down. In no way did Sonnen out stike Silva in anything but the first round.

Fuck Sonnen, I can't stand the guy and I was glad to see him come so close only to tap out for the seventh time in his career.
