Not sure how far off the radar it will fly - at this rate, it's basically the Fight of the Year for 2010.

Mauricio Martinez Vs Lester Fuentes. A WBO World title fight between a Panamanian and an El Salvadorian on an Anthony fucking Fartnell card somewhere in Manchester. Still one of the best fights I've seen, great back and forth, knockdowns galore and a back from the dead finish, all in five rounds.

Ryan Rhodes-Jamie Moore from last October, I believe. If it were aired in the states, it easily would've garnered high runner-up options for Fight of the Year. Terrific fight from start to finish with tons of momentum shifts and a nice career resurrecting KO for Rhodes in the process.

Chavez Jr will never get any credit for his career (and most of it warranted), but his Dec 07 fight with Rey Sanchez deserved better coverage than it received. It was a step up in comp and non-stop action from beginning to end until JCC Jr iced him in the sixth.

Earlier that same year, Erik Morales and David Diaz left the Rosemont Arena breathless with their 12-round war. Joony and I sat next to each other in press row and couldn't even hear each other. Yet the fight had the misfortune of airing on Top Rank PPV at the exact same time as the fight that would go on to become 2007's Fight of the Year- Vazquez-Marquez II.

Rhodes-Moore was a fantastic fight. I think it won domestic fight of the year over here, but yea overseas didn't get any attention whatsoever, definitely one for the Yanks to check out.
