He scored a rare stoppage win.

Chris Byrd's loss enhanced Roy's legacy.

He finally learned to use the ole german poison gloves trick to his advantage.

I have been trying to find a complete Chris Byrd career set, but any set I find online by sellers only have about half of them.

I guess a lot of his earlier fights weren't on TV (plus a few of the later ones such as the Paul Marinaccio fight).

I'm glad he finally retired though. He's my favorite boxer, but fuck it was rough at the end.

Yes. Thankfully the secret of this poison was kept hidden from Evander Holyfield, David Tua, Golota, and Mo Harris. Yes. Vital.

I watched it, it was on TV, I think ESPN2. Anyways, Chris had a really bad time with the weight cut. He looked like a corpse. Terrible showing.

When does Eddie Chambers make his cruiserweight debut? Anyone know? Interested to see how he looks fighting at 200.

Eddie needs to move when he gets down to Cruiser. I caught the last few seconds of his fight with Klitschko, and his movement was pretty non-existent.

That's the George fight, no? I saw that. He cut way down to light heavy and got stopped. Unless the four round win was on ESPN2 too?

Wow. Ironically, Chris move to 175 did nothing to harm the reputation of that division. Somehow, grown men starving themselves to get the fuck down to 175 reflected badly on the HW division, and enriched 175.

that was the George fight. The fight against Matthias Sandow I think he went back up in weight to (I believe) cruiser.

It doesn't look like his head belongs to that body.

because he was friends with Cunningham who was the man at the time. And he said something about he didn't wanna go at his friend, and he felt at the time he could easily drop another class. Didn't work out well.

REED you seem to be ending a worrying amount of your posts with the little crack smoker emoticon these days. Match making isn't THAT stressful is it?:jaw:

Hmm....looks more like a crack pipe.

Do you Americans have 'buckets' over there? You cut two plastic bottles up, put water in the bottom (bigger) one, tin foil over the top one then fill it with smoke by pulling it out the water and creating a suction?

They are to weed as crack is to coke. Totally un-Jackson.:crying:
