You don't help boxing by making good fights that can later be dismissed quite easily. You help boxing by making good fights into great fights (on paper) by making the two fighters stars in their own right.

Lemieux and Pirog are not stars, although both perhaps could be with a good win or two each.

Lemieux is nothing special, and still has a long waaaaay to go before being a credible fighter

Brian Vera would be a very logical matchup as he just destroyed another quebec fighter in Sebastian Demers recently, plus he's a brawler so it should make for a great fight and would be an easy sell.

    Lemiuex?..

How Le Fuck do Armenians have French surnames?...

Anyway,.. he has average skills,.. but, immense power, I suppose that makes him semi-okay,.. we'll find out once he steps it up.

It's confusing me,.. somewhere I read he was Armenian,.. yet I 'think' he comes from Quebec, with a French surname, and he looks French,.. not like that of an Armenoid,.. (Arabham, Darchinyan)... actually Armenoids tend to have one of the most distinctive skull types that are only unique to their region, they don't look quite European, and they don't look quite middle-eastern, Mexican wedding shirt would describe it as 'Rat like', but, up to him, up to him. Anyway the point being, if you were planning to lift him onto your shoulders,..you would have to throw aside your somewhat intruiging leanings towards the Turk-fodder, and do it out of the honour for Charles Martel instead, you may have not liked the Frogs in recent political times, but... they won, one of the best and most important wars in European history,.. Charley's maul did the trick,... not "Enry's ammer" who unlike the French, couldn't put the nation of islam away... :crafty:

Demers can go fuck himself for one simple reason: he'll never win a meaningful fight.

Shark Week...and it's the sport of boxing, there's more reporting on why fights don't happen than why they do.

But back to what you wrote....you think Lemieux telegraphs his punches?

He seems a little too 'basic' from what I've seen, his approach is to crouch a bit, keep his hands up, in one dimensional mechanical form, jab, then have a sporadic swipe, something I'd expect to see on a Sauerland undercard preparing for a WBO vacancy against his stable mate. But he sure has some sock in his little hooks,.. his opponents shake thier heads "WTF!?", after a brief swiv.
