“You tell Alexander Povetkin, his people and his trainer Teddy Atlas to make this fight or stop playing around. I know you are not going to make this fight. You are scared, so quit playing with me. But if you have the balls to make this fight I will not let you guys rob me, I will bring my own judge and jury and knock Alexander Povetkin the fuck out!â€

“And Teddy Atlas can kiss my ass! Teddy is trying to save Alexander Povetkin from losing, Teddy better save you Alexander from taking this fight!â€

“Team Alexander has gone back and forth on fighting me, saying they want the fight, two weeks before the fight pull out, come back and say they want to fight me then say no. Teddy Atlas asked to see my last two fights, and knew that I had a great sparring session with Tomasz Adamek, why you want to see my last to fights? Why Alexander, does your people have to gas you up, are you your own man, no!â€

If he had a great sparring session with Adamek, Povetkin doesn't stand a chance...better stick to exhibitions with the Bruce Seldon's of the division.

But if they did fight, it wouldn't hurt Guinn's chances to bring 2 or 3 judges, just in case it goes the distance.

 

Povetkin is the perfect guy for Atlas to train - he doesn't understand English so Atlas can talk his pre-scripted nonsense to the camera in the corner and it won't hurt the fighter

Never underestimate Guinn's capability of underestimating his opponent and losing

Of course not.

Guinn more than held his own with Adamek in the gym in preparation for Arroela, but with Dom it is a mental thing.

He tore Shannon Briggs up as well at Gleason's, but as you know, he freezes at times when it is for real, but has kicked the shit out of Audley Harrison.

To see this kid work in the gym, you'd swear he was the next champ, but I can't figure him out.

If he is in the right mental frame, I think he'd give David Haye a run for his money, and at least give the brothers Klit as good as a fight as they have gotten over the past several years, and really nail them both.

I am not saying he'd win, but he'd rock them.

BTW: Guinn is a very decent and well spoken young man as well, which you will find out if you ever meet him, and is very receptive to the media.
