Golden Boy is getting seasonal this year...iwith potential fights the week before Christmas (Pascal-Hopkins) and this fight possible for two days after Thanksgiving.

There's some talk of it becoming a triple-header, but we'll see.

This fight should have already taken place instead of the worthless rematch with Diaz.

thats one way to look at it. then again the scholar was mildly competitive in their first match, and he also dominated katsidis. who knew he'd be in survival mode in the rematch?

It's the only way to look at it. Diaz did absolutely nothing to earn a rematch, much less put it on PPV. The backlash received when first announced had everything to do with Golden Boy loading up the undercard.

I've been calling for Marquez-Katsidis ever since Marquez fattened up to spar with your boy last year. Glad it's finally happening.

it should be a good little beating. I dont expect it to be highly competitive but i do expect an entertaining thrashing.

Absolutely. How many pay per views have ever had a main event with two fighters coming off losses?

Finally happening? Is this sarcasm? Please. Let's not pretend this is anything more than a way for GBP to keep it in the family.

I'm disgusted, absolutely disgusted, with boxing.

    I wanna see:

    JMM/Soto
    JMM/Funeka
    JMM/Guzman
    JMM/Linares
    JMM/Guerrero
    JMM/Peterson

But alas. Boxing is not a real sport.

Besides JMM/Diaz, one other real ppv that valdosta named that I can't remember and Tyson/Sanders that I thought of.

I think Katsidis will beat the shit out of JMM.

I'll be pulling for Kat, but picking Marquez by late TKO.

Why would you NOT want to see Katsidis fight? The guy is arguably the most entertaining fighter in the world right now...

Glad to see Marquez back at lightweight where he belongs (at highest) rather than being served up as a sacrificial lamb for huge roboto Khan

Kat would beat the shit outta Linares, Guerrero, and Soto. He could possibly stop the soft chinned Funeka as well. And Ant Peterson is talented enough to beat Kat, but hasnt been tested by anyone.
