Season 3 was my favorite (Barksdale/Stanfield War, Hamsterdam, City Hall), and a season that I argue is the greatest of any show in televised history.

It's weird - I liked 4 when it first aired, but as I rewatch each season, I actually like 2 more than 4 (and 3 and 1 more than both of them). the only constant is that S5 was my least favorite.

I don't like Floyd but I like him enough to hope he changes his ways. If he doesn't, he will lose and boxing will lose with him, and I don't want the naysayers and the MMA freaks etc talking about just another washed up broke ass fighter who didn't take the big fights.

Thomas Hearns has financial issues, and is a slowed down dude but he fought them all.

I didn't even click on Floyd's video. That's how much I respect what he says or stands for. Listening to him talk is like listening to a politician, it's all hot air and a waste of time, so I don't bother.

As for the article, my question is do you guys agree with the writer when he says Floyd's sponsors (Reebok, AT&T, etc) will drop him over this?

I find that hard to believe because boxing is all about talking shit and it happens all the time and it's not like this is Floyd's first time saying some over the top negative shit.

Probably the biggest factor here is how invisible boxing is to the mainstream. This isn't going to make 1/50th of a ripple that a racist statment from a guy like Tiger Woods would make. So if nobody hears about this, why should Floyd's sponsers drop him unless they want to for other reasons?
