Judah will probably keep fighting until he's 40..... He'll accumulate 20-25 losses by the time he's done....
Dunno much about Mattthyse other than watching the Harris fight on Youtube. They stopped that fight early, and robbed Matthyse of what would almost certainly have been a clean KO eventually. The guy can crack, and if he can survive Zab's early speed and power, then he's got a great chance to pull it off. Best believe that Zab doesnt have the legs and reflexes he once had. But he's still fast of hand, and still has pop, and therefore he's still a threat.
He has a better chin and is (somewhat) less crude, but Zab should still kick his ass. In fact a rare occasion where I'll be rooting for Zab to win and look good doing so
There's NATHAN "Special" about Lucas Mattttttthysse, but he's SOLID Enough to Give Zab Problems, if Zab SLEEPS on him....Dude Fought in Texas a Couple Years Back & REED Came Away Somewhat Impressed... Zab SHOULD B Favored, but Again, he CAN'T Come in BS'ing w/this Dude.... REED:hammert:
Sounds like Omar Weiss you are describing. Judah needs to get down to 140 win some fights and guarantee Hatton and Tszyu their places in the HoF
I think Matthysse will run him over sometime after 4-5, he's an aggressive and relentless kind of fighter and just on the right side of crude
Judah would have a great chance. As bad as he's been at times, he always looks great in the early rounds, and he's got real speed and power. It's a fight I'd love to see.
Nah, well it doesn't seem that way at least from what I've seen. Like Jake said, he's more polished than Walter. He also seems to pack similar power to his brother, if not more. Thing is, dude is pretty slow of hand and feet. I'm pretty sure Zab will catch dude early. I just don't know what happens when he does. If Matthysse weathers the early storm, I think Zab will get stopped in the mid to late rounds.
People consider Judah a loser but I wrote a thread a long time ago about how most of his failures were due to fighting against welter weights who were bigger and stronger than him. 147 was all wrong for a small guy like Judah and if Matthyse isn't too big I give Judah a shot. I'll be rooting for Judah too.
Did Walter retire because that guy's been brutally KO'd so many times his own highlight reel consists of him getting beat rather than his opponents.
