And I never claimed to be objective on the matter. I am simply a fan of both sports that isn't threatened by one over the other. And that, in a nutshell, is the difference. I can live with a boxing and an MMA section on this forum, but some of you absolutely can't. And yes, if someone like Andrew constantly visits the MMA section to simply slam the sport then I am going to return in kind. I think the Toney-Couture post were a perfect example of that. How can anyone that competes in the UFC be a MMAist when Jimmerson is a boxer? When i said legit, i mean legit as an organization. Obviously Not everyone in the UFC 1 was a MMA, but there were a mix of martial arts primirily used in the UFC at the time. As for Jimmerson and McNeely not being legit boxers, you are crazy. The man was a professional boxer. :: That was his career. UFC 1 people came out of invitation and never returned. That wasnt a career.

My point was that even a thread like this about a MMA documentary illicits his response where I don't see where he commented at all, to date, in the General Section about a boxing PPV that just happened. That's a simple point which I think is relevant. I assumed it would be easy to see, but of course it's misconstrued as a "I hate boxing" indictment. Hell, even TLC, who apparently does hate boxing, commented in the Mosely-Mora thread.
