PED's are have ruined professional sports. Even though I hate Sonnen this saddens me because it once again confirm that most times when a guy suddenly starts doing better at a fairly advanced age its due to PED's...ie. Bonds, Pac, Clemons, and Sonnen among many others. Wasn't Sonnen the guy who said that Lance Armstrong gave himself balls cancer from steroids?

I said he never FAILED a test, which is true. I also said I am not naive about Lesnar. Looking at him in the WWE, I would bet the house he was juicing.

My point was simple, if we quit testing and didn't care, there would be no need to speculate. We would just know athletes are using everything at their disposal to be the best.

 

Great points. It's a risk/reward proposition anyway. Funny, but I bet many athletes would trade a shorter life for longer in the spotlight. Let them.

Nah. Even though he was bigger, in the WWE he was able to dedicate more time to lifting. In MMA, he has to concentrate on many other aspects, leaving less time for lifting.

 

He also had to cut a bunch of weight to get under the limit.

 

I was going to post the same thing. Brock looks a lot different now than he did in the WWE days. That's not to say he hasn't done PED's, but there is nothing to suggest that he has other than he is huge. There are huge people in the world, not every big guy is on roids.

 

Lesnar is a big guy, just like Konrad is a big guy, it's just that Brock actually applied his size to bodybuilding and got really fit.

Konrad apparently is cool with being fat.

 

The one real thing that makes me slow to accuse Brock is how big he stayed even while sick with the stomach issue. Sure he lose weight but it's not like the change you saw with Brian Bosworth or Tony Mandrich when they got off the juice.

And I don't think he solved his ruptured bowel issue and immediately got back on roids to get huge by the Carwin fight.

The dude is naturally a huge guy. It's mostly frame size as well which isn't a result of roids.

The only guy I have ever accused of roids with no proof is Overeem, but he's had the most drastic change in his body in the history of sports period. Barry Bonds has nothing on overeem. ::
