And what makes it annoying, is this place is a BOXING SITE. I used to be surrounded by boxing fans. This was the place you could go where you didn't have to deal with non-fans pissing you off, shitting on your sport.
Not sure who you're talking about with the word "All", but I would love to see a statement from me indicating that I turned my back on boxing. To me boxing is the most deeply rooted sport in my memory. Sticking up for MMA against idiots that slam it simply because they're threatened, does not equate to "turning my back on the sport". I too, do not like how boxing is "ran", but it doesn't mean I don't love the sport. To use your analogy, during the NFL strike in the 80's I still watched and loved the sport but it wasn't as much fun. The same is true with boxing right now. I love the sport, but it isn't as much fun as some of the great periods I lived through.

You make your living off the sport, i dont. Of course you would love it more. You are also older than me and have the memories of greater times in the sport. I do love boxing, no doubt. As much as you? Doesnt seem that way. Especially what you just posted about your wife and making a living. That said, i have never turned my back on the sport. Hell, i order the fucking PPV this weekend. Im sure most guys on the board didnt that do. Hell i know they didnt. I ordered it. I am a huge Mosely fan. I have said it a dozen times that he is a throw back. He doesn't look for favorable matchups or hand picked fights. The dude just fights anyone. I wouldn't miss him fight. That being said, the main event was mainly boring.
It's either stream it, or spend a measly $45 to watch it on my big screen. Usually an easy choice. And you know how much I've always liked Shane.
The funny part is that Reed and Andrew are arguing with the wrong people here. They dont realize that we ARE fans of both sports. Cant say the same for everyone in this forum, but i know for sure we are. I order pretty much ever PPV out there. Its funny because most people in the GD bash boxing WAY more than we supposedly do.

Main even was terrible. But Mosely is past it. You kind of hoping for a Mosely KO, but deep in the back of the brain, most boxing fans knew how it would turn out.
Even if I'm alone, like I was on Saturday. $45 is really nothing. I'll always pay for quality. Although I can honestly say, and you guys won't believe me, that I have never ordered a UFC at my house.
BTW, i would rather watch boxing alone then with a bunch of people, most caring only about getting drunk and hanging out then actually watching the fight.
