:giggle: Pac started out at flyweight...so this gives the impression of a particularly small fighter. But he was still a teenager at the time and was still growing. Height and reace between Duran and Pacquiao is minimal..and if you look at both bodies at 147lbs..if anything Duran looked fleshier.
Pac is built up though, I think. In terms of frame size he's still a very, very small man, he just has a freakish little bodybuilder like ability to gain muscle on that frame and stay lean. Duran wasn't as ripped, but he was naturally allot bigger in terms of joint and frame structure, IMO.
I can accept what you say..but I think it's close....but what I will say is that Hearns is a much bigger man than Margarito.
I just notice that tattoo on Margarito shoulder that is knew right?...I don't remember seen it before... Cotto...Mosley...Margarito all from nowhere started getting tattoos..
The question will be how much Margarito will be allowed to re-hydrate after the weigh in. If he is allowed to fully re-hydrate Marg could give Pac a run for his money. I'll Holla 5000
I have always thought that Marg was vastly overrated. Big, strong and tough,...but slow, extremely hittable and easily outboxed. He just had that ability to hang tough and eventually his punches started to have major effect on his opposition. His chin is solid as well. Manny is simply too fast, too well conditioned, and just too good for Antonio. Repeat of the Clottey fight, except I think Pac will bust him up enough to force Marg to retire between rounds later in the fight.
Provided, of course, that his gloves are sufficiently loaded with plaster. Margarito ain't shit without his plaster. This was a no-brainer for Manny's camp. Does anyone know what the contracted weight is for this fight?
:scratcher: yeh there might be something in the contract that he is only allowed to drink a certain amount of water between the weigh-in and the fight
