That's funny, but has little to do with the point that, for a fighter who started relatively late in the sport, he seemed pretty relaxed in the ring.

I think Spinks could be another one, and perhaps Tszyu as well.

DLH always looked tense to me. In fact, I thought it was why he seemed to gas out in the later rounds.

Taylor & DLH are prime examples of guys who were too tense, IMO.

    Really?

    Dude was intense!

Perhaps I don't know what this thread is about...if you bring up Duran. I thought "relaxed" referred to having a calm demeanor and relaxed style. If you're going to say Duran you may as well say YOUNG Foreman as well.

I think PBF must recognize the benefits of relaxing in the ring; I sense a deliberate effort on his part to be relaxed. His match-up with Judah is a good example, as is his fight with Mosley. However, that's not to say he manages to be relaxed in every fight. For example, I didn't think he was very relaxed against ODH or JMM.

Duran fought in a very relaxed, fluid manner and controlled his ferocious style in such a way to make it highly effective. Your not as good defensively as Duran was w/o being relaxed.

    Great examples, folks.

I'd like to add the Great Rafael Herrera if I may to the list.
