Mayweather isn't a WWE creation. He went there to steal free money. Brock was their for a career before he failed to make it in a real sport.
What do you mean wwe creation? Brock's WWE got him the shot at UFC. Brock's Wrestling Credentials in NCAA, including two time NCAA champion is what made him a UFC champion and has kept him there. You make no sense and sound stupid. You are spamming with your bullshit already and its getting old. If your only contribution to this forum is attacking the sport its dedicated to, you can join Hanzy and LOK and be banned from here. Its your choice. Your ignorance wont be missed.
How do you figure that? Nam dominated for the last 2 minutes of the first round when Paige gassed and that was before any of his injuries. Paige was tough no doubt, but he was outclassed with or without injuries.
Just watched it again, not sure when he broke his left hand but he was throwing it without any problems until Nam took him down. Not entirely sure about his shin, but he was still throwing kicks and thats what Nam caught to take him down and beat him up for the last 2 minutes of the first round. Paige also didnt say anything about his shin between rounds. Regardless of what he had done to himself, Paige was in big trouble on his back and couldnt do anything to prevent Nam from beating him up.
Paige was doing well until he faced just an ounce of pressure. He is extremely one dimensional. Nam is a much better fighter. Nam may win this thing purely on his experience. The guy has been around on the West Coast circuit for some time. Not to mention he has fights in Strikeforce and Sengoku. He has lost just about everytime he has stepped up to the next level, Josh Thompson, Rob Mccullough, Omigawa, but he has done well against most of them too. Nam is a total sleeper in this competition.
Well it seems everyone saw the injuries but you. He wasnt throwing this kicks as hard as he was in the first round. Something happened to him. We will if he gets to fight in the wildcard. If not, his injuries were serious.
MOST of the Guys Seem to have MORE Experience than your Typical TUF Contestants...Stylistically AND In the Sheer # of Fights they had, Prior to the Show.... Other than Bruce LeRoy Trying Tooooo Hard to B the Next Leben/Junie Browning/Jamie Yager of the Show & Koscheck's FAILED Attempts @ Getting Under GSP's Skin, It's Been a GOOD Season Thus Faaaaar.... REED:dancingBaby:
Did Anyone Else Think the Whole "BadAss Drunken Kickboxer" Thing was SCHTICK???...GSP Doesn't Seem like a 'Schtick' Kind of Guy, but that French Cat he Brought in was Weird...GSP ADMITTED the Dude had ZERO Discipline, he was Built like a MIDDLE AGED Man, yet the Guys were Falling & Throwing Themselves to the Mat as if he was DESTROYING them... Those Sparring Sesssions DIDN'T Look LEGIT @ All... REED::
I think it was legit. Skarbowsky is a badass. There are lots of stories of this guy and fights on the streets. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/nDTuFKqhafM?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/nDTuFKqhafM?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
Im not denying he had injuries, but they had nothing to do with him getting beat up on the ground by Nam and not being able to get up. It seems everyone can see Nam had him outclassed but you.
But how do you know domination on the ground wasnt a result of his injuries is my point. You dont know. Nobody knows, so to make it seem like he was outclassed, because he was better is a bit premature. IMO, without the injuries, Nam gets beat. But again, i dont know. Im just guessing. We will have to wait and see how nam does in his next fight.
Lets see the extent of Paiges injuries, but he was throwing punches with both hands freely and kicking fine before Nam took him down, so Im not buying it as an excuse or reason to why he couldnt get up. Most see it the same way I do in that Nam was just the better fighter, he definitely was that fight, well see in coming episodes how things progress.
Actually it was legit Reed. The dude is a legit badass. He is just on a level that they have never seen as far as Thai boxing goes. A specialist. Kinda like if they brought someone like a prime James Toney to spar with to train their boxing. Pure humiliation.
Cody and Jonathan made team Kos look stupid. Two quick 1st round subs. Koschek has no idea what is going on. Does anyone else hate this wild card shit? If you lose you shouldn't get to come back. Its lame.
Yup. It was ridiculous. I wouldnt be suprised if those two ended up in the finals. That man's choke is fucking insane.
Koscheck and the team knew what was going on. They repeatedly told their guy that Mckenzie had won all his fights through guillotine choke and he said "don't worry I won't let him get it on me "I'll keep it standing.. etc." That plan lated 8 seconds. :: The rule isn't so bad because flukes happen. But the should name it the "KIMBO clause". On a side note: Cody is in a great spot to get in the UFC without winning another match. He's on a fast track to get a fight with Kos.
Check out the guy at the 50 second mark.. Is that Bruce Leroy? <object width="640" height="390"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/RZ6HQL8orL4&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/RZ6HQL8orL4&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></embed></object>
when cody choked that dude out in like 20 seconds i laughed so damn hard the look on koschecks face was priceless, i bet he shit his pants that dudes guillotine is fucking incredible then another quick sub after that, hilarious koscheck is fucking around with GSP and GSP is gonna fuck him up when they fight
Not only was it crazy that he subbed him in 20 seconds, he fucking PUT HIM TO SLEEP in 20 seconds! Pretty damn crazy.
I watched Cody choke out a 3 time HW state champion wreslter who came to our gym to roll. The guy outweighed cody by 100lbs. Cody has the sickest Guillotine on the planet. I'm not exaagerating. He choked out Jeremy Horn when he was up here as well. Obviously these are just mat rolls and not actual matches.
Does anyone else think when GSP is giving these speeches about control and then "Bam!" taking them out, he is referring to Kos?:giggle: Kos is going to get really fucked up by GSP. It will be like GSP/Serra 2 or possibly worse.
yeah he does something weird with his guillotine that allows him to close off the blood flow on both sides or some shit crazy
And just a side note. What you are watching on there is Cody. No show. That is his personality, the guy used to be a pot smoking loser for a long time. He got out of Alaska and took up BJJ. His conversation with Nam was priceless! "Stevens is better than me in just about every way. Better wrestling, better standup, better stamina." Nam says what are you going to do? Cody, "I'm gonna win" and then his typical Spicoli stoner laugh. The guy is fucking crazy. He was signing with the WEC but got permission to try out for TUF. The WEC told him no matter what happens if he doesn't get into the UFC he could come into the WEC after the show. He isn't pretty, he just fights.
