Chisora could be next for Wlad

To suggest as you did that Wlad is 'cleaning up British HW's because Haye wouldn't' is balderdash, plain and simple. Wlad is the best HW in the world- why on earth would he care a tuppenny bit about the likes of Sexton and Chisora? :dunno:

I agree that he may be trying to raise a UK profile by fighting Chisora and I suppose it is a straight-forward stay busy fight, but it still a very strange one, however you slice it, because Chisora has done NOTHING, and I do mean NOTHING, to suggest he should be anywhere near a world title shot.

Lewis was the undisputed WC when Vitali fought him and Hide has fought reasonably competatively at world level and held the odd (WBO) bauble. Neither of these had fights with a Klit becuse of their British title credentials ::

Similarly, Williams got his shot after knocking out Tyson- had he not done so, he would have never been anywhere near a world title fight. Again, his British champion 'credentials' had very little to do with it.

This choice of opponent is every bit as bad as Haye's. At least Haye and Fraudley are going to make a fortune out of their debacle and so the logic is clear, albeit that fight is disgusting from a match-making perpective. What the hell does Wlad get out of this? :dunno: A bit of extra exposure in the UK? A bit of extra cash?

He doesn't. It puts Wlad's name out in the UK scene and in doing so it annoys the shit out of Haye. Haye can't even have his own scene now without fucking Wlad becoming topical, so to speak. This will steal some of Haye's thunder and will also be an area of focus as soon as Haye/Harrison is over.

Chisora was one of the names mentioned as part of this tourney. I guess Wlad is just staying ahead of the game, man.

 

Dude, I am not saying their British credentials had anything to do with anything. I am just saying they have a history of fighting British champions, past, present, future etc. Chisora is the next of those fighters. How many British champs has Haye fought at Heavyweight?

I'm actually pretty stoked about this. It may seem unusual, but don't discount the unknown guy.

Well, the rest is history. That unknown kid named Rocky Balboa would turn in the performance of a lifetime and give the champion everything he could handle. In fact, Balboa would win the title less than 3 years later.

What Klitshkos are doing is not fair.They should know better and go away from boxing. This is like a professional Olympic athlete going and competing in the special olympics instead and picking on the poor retards. Bullies.

The belief is that a single unified identifiable champ is necessary.

That is odd, for several reasons, not least that

{a} It exists nowhere else in the sport. Who is the man at 147? At 168? At 175?

{b} Even if there was a single unified MAN, how long before some dissent or dispute crept into the argument?

Make no mistake about it, if the Klitschko's were not around, there would be even more ambiguity, you would have 4 different dudes all claiming to be champs.

 

It would be great ! You would have:

Albert Sonsnowski the WBA champ
Audley Harrison the IBF champ
Chris Arreola the WBO champ
Shannon Briggs the WBC champ

and then next month you most likely would have all different champions !!!
