Not great fighters with one great attribute

I thought of this as I recently rewatched De La Hoya vs Sturm. Overall Sturm was/is a very average fighter, but his jab must be among the best ever. He completely outjabbed Oscar, landed every time and moved Golden Boy back with it. Sturm has plenty of such displays.

David Tua had a great left hook. Otherwise he was fat.

Marion Wilson had a pretty solid chin.

That's rather unfair. Tua, also had a GREAT chin and demonstrated exceptional stamina at least once in his career (when in shape).

I'd nominate Antwun Echols. Basically a shit fighter, but had devestating power.

No one mentioned Chuvalo's chin? He had a few good attributes (a wicked left hook to the body among them), but that was his only truly great one.

Butterbean - Weight

 

Not terribly much. It's a good example IMO, 80% of Quartey's entire game was his jab.

 

Shavers - power, seemed the most obvious one to me.

A guy with JUST a jab is Bruce Seldon.

Quartey had a good chin, decent power, good movement.

I think some of you guys see this thread differently to the way I do. I read it (and could be wrong) as a fighter that just has one great attribute and nothing else.
