So what happened to that bullshit? LOL. Dana tries too hard with this shit sometimes. These big guys are dropping like flies.
Cain is part of the new breed. Guys are getting bigger, quicker and more all around. This is a good thing.
There aren't many of them. Simply because there isn't a huge populace of 6'4 280+lbs athletes. So yeah.
Wrong. The new breed consisted of Brock, JDS, Cain & Carwin. Nobody is a 265 behemoth but brock. New Breed didnt just consist of size. It was size, quickness, power and wrestling.
Bullshit. Brock, Carwin, Duffy, Mir, Struve. All of these "super heavyweights" were supposed to completely change the heavyweight picture. Have you been hiding under a rock??
I don't think Struve or Duffee weigh in at the maximum. Duffee is still pretty good though, he'll be back.
Just typed in cain velasquez breed and picked the first four that came up. I could list hundreds of articles more. Cain has always been thought of as one of the new breed. http://ringtalk.com/brock-lesnar-mma-ufc-cain-velasquez-mma-dana-white http://forceofwrestling.com/the-taj-show-are-the-new-breed-taking-over-ufc/ http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/news?slug=dd-mmaranks040110 http://www.fightline.com/fl/news/2010/1019/533034/ufc-121-lesnar-vs-velasquez/
I think what he's trying to say is that this "new breed" is just typical UFC propaganda. What does it tell you that most of these "new breed". Have already been exposed?
I wouldnt use the word exposed. I would use the term beaten. And i would tell you that they have been beaten by each other.
When Brock turtle up and covers his head the first time he gets tagged two fights in a row, that's a chank in his armor that was definately exposed. And Cain took advantage of it.
Its the not the first time he was hit. He was hit in the mir fight. And he was tagged hard in the cain fight. that is what made him drop. In the cain fight no excuse. but he actually took shots in the cain fight and didnt run away. He was just hit time after time on the chin with Cain's pin point accuracy.
I've always considered Brock, Cain, Carwin and JDS as the new breed. Struve and Duffee were no where near that discussion. And they are "falling like flies" because they are actually fighting each other. And when fighters fight each other, someone usually loses. It's not like any of the 4 were beaten by other fighters. And after JDS-Velasquez fight there will only be one of the new breed that hasn't lost to one of the others. Wow, that must mean it was all hype because 3 of the 4 lost. Nope, that's just the beauty of the UFC. They have 4 highly, highly touted heavyweights and they aren't afraid to match them up. Hell, we could actually see Lesnar-Carwin, Lesnar-Cain and Cain-JDS in less than an 8 month span. Great for an MMA fan. Regarding the hype, these are still 4 Heavyweights that are bigger and badder than the previous breed like Nog and Couture. Just because they lost fighting each other doesn't mean they aren't the top 4 guys in the UFC's HW Division.
Disagree. Brock is a joke and Carwin has a 3 min gas tank. You watch, now that their weaknesses were exposed, they will continue to be expolited.
Come on. The dude has some incredible holes in his game, but he far from a joke. Tell me another joke that could manage wins against Mir, Herring, Couture and Carwin all within their first 6 fights? Nope, he isn't as good as some of us might have thought but he isn't a joke. But let me ask you something to really put it in perspective, do you think Lesnar loses to: 1) Roy Nelson 2) Frank Mir 3) Cheick Kongo 4) Matt Mitrione 5) Brendan Schaub 6) Gabriel Gonzaga Personally I think he beats anyone of those guys. I think Mir is probably the best of the bunch and Lesnar destroyed him already. So again, in a real perspective, Lesnar isn't a P4P guy but he isn't a joke.
