Kampmann has the fight IQ of a person with down's and had a legitimate shot at beating a gassed shields in the 3rd. Instead, he chose to take it to the ground where he was getting schooled all fight, but surviving well. Shields, being completely gassed, still out-grappled him. Shields is very good on the ground but has absolutely no ability to finish someone if he can't get the sub. He has laughable stand-up, and no GnP. Luckily for him, the judging system will always be on his side.
Yep, but it doesn't count because I totally thought Lesnar would win. Yep. Nope. Pleasant surprise. When Diego looked so scrawny at 155, I thought he was done. Nope. Nope.
It was good to see Matt Hamill win. I actually met the guy once at a bar and I came up to him he looked friendly and I told him I really like him as a fighter and that I can't wait to see him win the light heavyweight title and that he is a big inspiration to me . Matt replied with "What ?"..... But in all seriousness it was great to see him DEFeat Ortiz !
I'm here. What am I going to do leave cause I picked a fight wrong? Oh no. I've been wrong many times with MMA predictions. Not the end of the world for me. Cain is the man, I have no issues saying that. Why are you targeting me anyway? I make wrong picks all the time, I am always back to own them.
Gonzaga looked the worst he ever has in the Schaub fight, he looked slower than ever. What was that all about?
he hasn't looked good since knocking's crocop's head off. in fact, everytime he stepped up since, he got his ass kicked. not sure how this is a surprise to anyone.
It's not like I was expecting to see him look great, I just expected better than what I saw. He looked especially slow to me.
I'm not saying Fedor couldn't beat Brock, but let's be real here. You're using faulty logic. Cain is a far better wrestler then Fedor is and Brock did take him down twice, the difference? Cain was able to get back up. Would Fedor have been able to do that? I'm not making a pick here between the two, just pointing out some bad logic is all. There is no guarantee that anyone that hasn't actually beaten Lesnar would be able to. This is Floyd fan shit.
Cain isn't a far better wrestler than Brock. This is MMA, not wrestling. And why couldn't Fedor get back up? He is one of the best out there at exploding from the bottom for a better position. And you don't have to be a wrestler in order tonpetform reversals and sweeps, other disciplines employ these moves as well as Fedors excellent submission game. Just because Mir couldn't get out from under Brock doesn't mean others cant because we all know Mir gives up when he starts to get pounded on. Brock hates to be pressured, and Fedor would put 10 times the pressure on Brock than Cain did. Of course anything is possible, but after seeing Brocks last 2 fights, the odds are stacked against him IMO.
Cain is also a very good wrestler, which is why he was able to get up. Maybe Fedor could get up but it's not by any means a forgone conclusion.
