Former super middleweight and light heavyweight champion Reggie Johnson has received a 12 year prison sentence on a felony theft charge according to the Houston Chronicle. He was convicted of taking more than $120,000 from Houston Area Urban League to put on a series of boxing camps, which never took place.

12 Years is Pretty HARSH for a $120,000 Theft Charge...What's Wrong is WRONG, but the Punishment Seems to OUTWEIGH the Crime in this Case....If the Charge was "Embezzlement" Instead of "Felony Theft", the Sentence would B MUCH Less....Corporate Types Embezzle MILLIONS, yet Only Do 3-5 Years of Jail Time....

He has prior convictions for the same thing. That's why he got the long sentence.
