Yeah, booked the flight on the weekend. Just a little weekend away. Didn't even know te fight was happening until a friend of mine told me. We picked up some floor seats at the Centre Bell.

If you make it down here, which is a drive of under two hours from Montreal, I will make it my solemn duty to get you the drunkest you have ever been.

And I have the liquor cabinet and umpteen cases of beer to make it happen.

Is Lemieux Canadian? Then again, even if he is, seems pretty silly to fly somewhere to watch him fight Camacho Jr. of all people.

musta been 7 or 8 years ago i saw that chump camacho jr barely scrape past a mexican journeyman in a casino parking lot in compton. his corner needed to spill a bucket of ice into the ring inbetween rounds to buy him a few minutes breather.

 

Theres a very good chance that Jr will leave on a stretcher.......

Which would somewhat preserve this terrible boxing year.

 

It seems like only yesterday when he pulled arguably the biggest bitch move in the sport's history against Lejia. Hard to believe that fight was almost 10 years ago.

yup i met gomez and took a photo with him. of course no one i show has any clue who he is, nor would they believe he was a 122 lb beast at one point.
