    Alan Green can do one thing well, very well, and that is hit!

    Not a great boxer, looks at his feet too much, moves straight in and straight back for the most part, but is very dangerous in the Nigel Benn mold, not saying he is as good as attacker Benn was, because he is not, but this man can crank.

    He is too stiff at times, and can be his own worst enemy as he doesn't punch often enough, but it is not wise to engage him in a punch out, and he also measures the distance of his right hand very well.

    I don't know if he will win one fight here in this tournament, but I will say he is the most dangerous hitter by far.

    Bottom line is this: Green is in tournament and as long as he is, he will have to be dealt with by whoever he is facing. He is about to face a whole shit load of top 10 opponents and my guess is that he posits as many problems for them as they do for him.

    It pains me to say this but.... Green is a live underdog vs the Kessler of last night. Mikkel has declined, and is now pretty easy to find. Green isnt as tough in the chin department as Froch, but he DOES have more power then Froch, I'll admit that. If he KO'd Kessler I wouldnt be too shocked. But I cant see him beating Ward.

    He and Kessler will fight in a battle of Ward's children.

    The way I look at it too....he is there, and that is all about it. It doesn't matter who he has or hasn't fought...he is signed to fight the WBA 168lb man in his next fight. And its not like people can say he doesn't deserve it either. He was invited in, and he accepted.
