A 147 pound Hoya vs 330 pound "prime" Bean

Size matters but does it here ? Could Hoya beat the Bean ?

Size only matters if the difference in skill is close.

In this case...there's an enormous gulf in class...too much for size to compensate even a little.

Shane won the fight didn't he? Besides the natural (not including overweight fatness) Shaq-Shane difference in size is far greater than De La Hoya Butterbean and Shaq is very athletic (unlike bean). If anything that Mosley-Shaq fight proves my point.

Did Mosley really win? Lets face it it was close. It also looked like Shaq was holding back; at one point he got down on his knees for a laugh, for chrissake. And thats the first time Shaq had ever laced them up. Butterbean would decimate Shaq.

I have a hard time envisioning this fight never mind picking it. In an honest to goodness fight (as opposed to sparring session) I'd probably have my money on Butterbean. When you can't even deter a guy from coming forward slightly that takes a huge chunk from any advantages in skill & speed no matter how monumental.

Second time, technically. He also fought De La Hoya, coincidentally.

Oscar beat him much cleaner too IMO.
