Faber's first fight at 135 and it's against Mizugaki who absolutely always brings it. Win or lose, Mizugaki will make it exciting.

And man, how good is Fabiano-Benavidez? Also, undefeated Chad Mendes takes on Gracie JJ Black Belt Javier Vazquez.

    • Bantamweight bout: Damacio Page vs. Demetrious Johnson
    • Bantamweight bout: Joseph Benavidez vs. Wagnney Fabiano
    • Featherweight bout: Erik Koch vs. Francisco Rivera
    • Featherweight bout: Chad Mendes vs. Javier Vazquez
    • Bantamweight bout: Urijah Faber vs. Takeya Mizugaki

This card will entertain no doubt. The smaller weight classes put forth the best intensity in the game. Cant wait.

I am very curious about Faber cutting the weight. If he can do it without it hurting his gas tank, he will be almost unstoppable at 135.

I just read that Faber weighed 153 already and will likely be close to 160 tonight. That is Gatti type weight gain. He must have dried out like crazy and been starving himself.

I watched the weigh in yesterday on UFC.com and Faber didn't look too bad. He looked lean as shit but not drawn or Holocaust victim-like.

This card is actually being shown live tonight on Canadian tv (the score) so I will watch it. I'm not big on midget weights so can anybody tell me a little about these fights ??!! Any good fights on here ?

The main event is a sure fire good fight. And Joseph Benavidez vs. Wagnney Fabiano is a good matchup as well. Benavidez just lost back in August versus Dominck Cruz for the 135 belt. And Fabiano is BJJ stud.

Also Chad Mendes is an undefeated wrestling stud and he faces a Gracie JJ Black Belt.

Midgets or not, it shoud be an entertaining night of free fights.

Benavidez, Mendes and Faber all fight out of the same camp so it should be cool to see how they do. An impressive win by Mendes and he could be close to a shot at Aldo.

Michael McDonald might just be the next big thing at 135.

This Cub Swanson fight is awesome. Great offensive fight.

Yep. That was a good fight. I'm glad they showed it on the telecast.

Great card. The little guys can definitely bring it. Freaking Benavidez just completey owns BJJ guys. Fabiano is a very good Jiu-Jitsu black belt and Benavidez punked him.

There are going to be some good fights in the 135 pound division. But I don't know how teammates Benavidez, Mendes and Faber avoid each other for long. Outside Cruz, they are probably the top 3 guys.

Mendes fights at 145 and Benavidez said he'd fight Faber so it's all good.

I can't stand that Benavidez for some reason. Maybe it's because he's so short but I just can't stand him.

    Good point. Thanks.

He seems like an explosive guy and the wrestling base is nasty. Can he give Aldo any trouble?

    Probably.

Maybe, but Aldo is supposed to be even better on the ground than he is standing so who knows. Nobody has really tested it.
