At the time of the fight Baldo had beaten Judah, Margarito had never beaten anybody as good as Zab. Therefore Baldomir was a more proven fighter, but we can always rely on Mayweather haters to say otherwise.

I never had any problem with Mayweather fighting Baldomir. Baldomir was a legitimate champ after all. My problem was assuming it would just be a stepping stone for bigger and better things for Mayweather.

I thought it was the beginning of Floyd cleaning out the Welterweight division. I was wrong.

Margarito, at the time, was looked at as the more dangerous fight.

Ahhh sure Margarito was and is a much more dangerous fighter than Bumdomir...i thought you were talking in general that Margarito is the toughest opponent for Mayweather out there....

but yeah Margarito was/is superior to Bumdomir in all levels...

the way the boxing game works these days is simple. mayweather jr is not different than most guys who have been in his position. taking on a much tougher foe such as margarito instead of baldomir is business. if the money is the same no fighter will prefer to face margarito. not to mention the fact he'd have had to re-up with top rank and wouldve never faced delahoya

I'm watching the weigh-ins, and I must that Mike Jones has one of more cut physiques in the game.

    I thought it was funny.

I wonder if Pac lets roach shoot him up with roids or lets someone else do it? I mean, i don't know if roach can keep his hands still enough to use a needle.

Well Margarito showed again his true colors. in the second 24/7 when his team members were asking the little boy who was the other guy in the photo (Pac) and the boy couldn't recognize him, Margarito answered,"Ese es el pinche puto Pacquiao". Wow, how classy to teach a little boy profanity.
