Lol. The Fightbeat clown. This is a quote for the record books. Does he actually think people take him seriously?

What? You mean those two CATCHWEIGHT fights against ruined or washed up fighters?

The only reasonable win was Hatton who was Floyds sloppy seconds.

Floyd also KO'd him when he was undefeated and with 10 oz gloves. Manny KO'd a guy with lesser punch resistance with 8 oz gloves.

Mosley's win was much more impressive but good win for Manny, got the job done. Margarito should shut the fuck down, he is very average and doesn't stand a chance against good fighters.

People keep talking about Pac and catch-weights, but really Pac is fighting WW fights, coming in weighing even less than the WW limit, and allowing his opponents (who fought at WW for a number of years) to come in over the limit.

If anything it creates a disadvantage for Pac which was evident in how big Marg was tonight (165 lbs!).

The belts being on the line isn't Pac's fault. It's the various orgs just wanting to get paid.

It was great watching Manny give Margarito a savage beating. Margarito will never be the same.:bears:

I think Manny's 17 pound weight disadvantage and destruction of Margarito's face was more impressive.

V10 has to say that because he is a Floyd fan.

    Oh and by the way.

Manny is very fast but Hearns would never let Manny get close. And Manny can be hit. As great as Manny is, he isn't shrugging off a Hearns' straight right hand. He's going to sleep. Hearns ain't Cotto, Margarito, Clottey or De La Hoya. Hearns could put real MW and LHW to sleep.

Hagler is just to big. No way Manny beats Hagler in his prime at 160. Hagler's pressure and body punching would make Margarito seem like a walk in the park.

Hey! Pacquiao is a nice guy! Let's all pretend he wasn't fighting a guy coming off being destroyed by Mosely(who was then easily beaten by Floyd and called shot() and was taking only his 2nd fight in as many years(with that fight being a 10 round tune-up against some bum)

If Floyd had beaten Cheato instead, the excuses and Haterade would flood New Orleans worse than Katrina.

    Styles make fights.

It's also worth noting that the formidable Sergio Mora was able to get a draw against this same version of Mosley, right after the Mayweather fight.

But Hagler was an amazing pressure fighter. If Margarito was able to pin Manny against the ropes, Hagler certainly would. And if Margarito was able to hurt Manny, Hagler shouldn't have a problem.

The size would be too much. Manny pushed the envelope tonight and said he felt lucky to win so easily. Fighting perhaps the best MW in history, would be too much.

    All just opinions. Who knows.

srl, hearns, hagler all beat him.

too big. p4p i dont think any of them beat him, one of the best ever...clearly.

hearns was bigger than margarito and almost as fast as pacquiao himself...it would be a mismatch.

I think pac would have a harder time with Leonard. I just dont see Hearns catching a prime pac.

If you don't think the Margarito that fought Cotto stops Manny...

    then just  at you.

I think pressure fighting Pac is the wrong style. I'd give Leonard the best shot whereas Duran and Hagler seem tailor made. Hearns I think would be too much.

The Margarito that fought Cotto had plaster in his hands. Up to Round six, the cotto fight was looking similar to this one.

Wait, you're telling me that Margarito was able to catch Manny but 6'1" and 78' Tommy Hearns wouldn't be able to?

Dude, I am one of the biggest Hearns detractors in the known world, but this is a guy that actually out boxed Leonard and Benitez. He would easily keep Pacman at the end of the jab and drop the straight right on him.

Leonard is an easy matchup for Manny. At 147, I don't see one advantage Leonard has.

    Same version?

First of all, different weght, secondly Mosely barely got out of bed for amoral. He cashed on the biggest fight of his life against Floyd.

I wouldn't be shocked if he never fights again

If you think any version of plasterito would win more than a round against Pacquiao then  at you.
