How come nobody is talking about this? Margarito tried to cheat again attemting to take ephedrine, a banned substance. Nobody can even confirm for sure that he didn't take it. It was said that he was informed it was not legal and they threw it away. For all we know, he took it. Discuss.

It dont think it killed the theory at all. The splenda had absolutely nothing to do with the Hydroxicut. Apparently, margarito decided not to take the hydroxicut, or so nobody saw him take it. I dont know how one could tell for sure.

True... although while we're on the subject, I don't agree with Roach that it would've left Margarito's system that quickly that they had to take an on-the-spot drug test prior to the fight. I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure ephedrine stays in your body longer than the length of a prize fight.
You wanna know my cynical point of view? The whole thing was staged, with the intended message being: why would Pacquiao's camp demand a drug test, immediately, if he himself were using gear? The answer: he wouldn't ! He's not using gear !!! This is why the existence of promoters as we know it is short-lived.
