Martinez has never fought anyone with Pac's speed & Skill. Nobody Martinez has fought is even close to pac's level.

I dont see it. Pac is too fast for him. Martinez was getting caught with punches by Kermit Fucking Cintron. 12 Rounds with Cintron gonna beat Pac? Good luck.

Martinez is ALSO FAST...NOT as Fast as Pac, but MORE than Fast Enough....AND he's ALOT BIGGER than Pac...AND, Martinez is a TACTICAL Fighter, so it's NOT like he's Gonna just Try to Impose his SIZE Upon Pac...Since he's HALF A FOOT TALLER, Martinez will Work Behind a JAB & Look to COUNTER Pac's Onslaughts...

If U've Seen EITHER of the Pac-Marquez Fights, that's an Example of WHY Pac SHOULDN'T Fight Sergio Martinez...

Again, martinez never fought anyone as fast as Pac. How would you know how Martinez would handle that speed? Slow ass Cintron was landing on Martinez. CINTRON!!! And Martinez isnt that technical. He swings wildly and also has poor defense when trading shots. Name one fight Martinez has had that would justify him even being able to compete with Pac. His biggest wins are against Cintron, Pavlik and Williams. Give me a fucking break. BTW, lets not forget he was Knocked out by Slow ass Margarito.

The Margarita Loss was a DECADE Ago, but Nice to Know that U're Visiting Boxrec.com, Homey:clapagain:....

Watch EITHER of the Pac-Marquez Fights, where Pac CLEARLY STRUGGLES w/a "Boxer" Type...Only Difference is, Martinez is TALLER, BIGGER, STRONGER, Loooooooooonger, MORE MOBILE, yet Every Bit as SKILLED as Marquez was Back Then...

@ SOME Point, SIZE MATTERS...Putting Pac in w/a HIGHLY SKILLED Bigger Man is a Recipe for DISASTER....

:lol:Oh brother. Based on what? Again did you see the Cintron fight? Because for some reason you keep ignoring it.
Size may matter but it wont be Martinez that it will matter with. Martinez isnt bigger than Margarito. Hell Martinez fighting as a middleweight weighed less than Margarito did in the pac fight. You have no justification for your logic other than a KO win over Paul Williams. NONE. You are in hype mode right now and your head will clear up soon i hope. I will say it again. His biggest fights were against cintron, Willams and Pavlik. Three slow, tall fighters that fought with their chins easily exposed. He will be fighting Pac, who is smaller, moves side to side, is a southpaw and is arguably has the fastest hands and feet in boxing, let alone the fastest guy martinez has ever fought.

Dangerous fight for pac tho, but I have every confidence if it happens, pac can dominate Sergio.

Yes, REED Saw the Martinez-Cintron Fight...That's the Bout where Cintron was Actually Dropped & COUNTED OUT, yet Somehow CONNED the Ref Into ALLOWING the Fight to Continue, THEN, After CLEARLY LOSING the Vast Majority of the Rounds, Ended Up Getting DRAW....

How EXACTLY is this PROVING YOUR "Point" about How Pac-Martinez would Play Out???:dunno:...

Last Night, BOTH Williams AND Martinez were 168 IN THE RING...Margarita was 167 IN THE RING vs. Pac...Again, WHAT's YOUR Point???....

Martinez is an ATHLETIC (Quick Hands, Quick Feet, GREAT Mobility) Fighter No Matter WHO he Faces...He's Also a COUNTERPUNCHER...You Know, the Kind of Guy that JM Marquez was, Basically???...Except Martinez is BIGGER, STRONGER, TALLER & YOUNGER (Barely) than Marquez, In Addition to Being a SOUTHPAW...

Perhaps YOU'VE just Recently Heard of Martinez & Researched him (Similar to David Haye), but Martinez has Been a LEGITIMATE PLAYER in the Jr. Middle-Middleweight Mix for the Last Half Decade, Dude...

In 24 Rounds, JM Marquez Won NO FEWER than 16 vs. Pac....That's STYLISTIC EVIDENCE in SUPPORT of why Sergio Martinez Will Likely Beat Manny Pacquiao....

He is two years younger than marquez. And he is quick when compared to slow as Cintron, Williams & Pavlik. Anyone can look fast against these guys. Martinez has been a legimate player in the middleweight division for the passed decade? Really? Who has he beaten at Junior Middleweight that was legit? Who did he beat at Jr Middleweight that was a legit contender to the 154lb title? Answer this. Has he ever fought for the the 154lb title? Dont give me that bullshit. He was getting punched by slow cintron and slow williams all night. Those guys dont move. They stay in one place and punch. Because he beat your boy paul, you think he is going to beat pac? I dont see it happening.

He may beat pac, but on paper it doesnt come off that way. Your argument is weak. Martinez is quick for a middleweight. slightly above average for a jr Middleweight, Average for a welterweight in terms of speed. The fact that you put his skill level on par with Marquez is laughable.

I think he dominates him too. Margarito is a tougher fight. Margarito was bigger than Sergio when he fought Pac. Sergio is also untested against anyone on Pac's level. It would be a schooling IMO. But if im wrong, i will be right here eating crow.

Martinez wants to know what the terms of the fight would be. Obvioulsy it won't be for the middleweight title. It won't be above 154. Will Martinez accept coming in at 150 for about 10 million or more?

Martinez stepped to his right and delivered a CRUSHING QUICK left hand with Williams coming in fearless of what's coming back at him.

Pacquaio has superb foot and head movement and has lightening quick combinations. Sergio couldn't time Pacquaio like he did Williams.

This is THE fight to be made. Pacquaio UD over Martinez.

Mosley, Marquez, Berto, Alexander and Bradley would be EASY fights for Pacman.

While i agree with you martinez should have got he KO, he didnt and its laughable the man went 12 rounds with Cintron. No excuse for somone with the skill level of Marquez and apparent winner against Pac. Please.

He only went 12 because of officiating incompetence. He thought it was over and wasn't the same fighter after he was forced to fight again. That was a KO.

I slightly favor Martinez over Pacquiao... and that's why I want to see it. How great would a win, or even a close fight with the middleweight champion be?

A win for Pac over Martinez would raise and most probably confirm his credentials as one of the best P4P boxers ever, without the need to take on Floyd IMO. Both Martinez/Pac are at the peak of their powers and it would make a great stylistic fight.

I think he was the same after being forced to fight again. And the fact that he couldnt put Cintron away after hurting him is inexcusable. Especially with someone that is suppose to be able to beat the top boxer in the world.

Do you think Sergio's skill level is on Par with Marquez? You picked him to get an asswhooping by Williams right?

That would be a whopping challenge. He won't be any bigger than Margarito on fight night but he presents HUGE problems for Pacquaio. A southpaw, slick , fast and can hit for power? Still Pacquaio UD.

All the other names being mentioned for Pacquaio, he CLEANS the divisions out. We should have the Margarito PPV numbers soon. Pacquaio has the opportunity with a few more fights to cement his LEGACY as one of the best FIGHTERS of all time, being active and fighting everybody.

Mayweather could come out of hiding then.

See i dont know if Pac is at the peak of his power. at 140-145 is pac's peak IMO. But he doesnt need power for martinez. The KO will come later.

    Agree to disagree on Martinez/Cintron.

As for the Sergio/Marquez comparison, no I don't think he's as skilled. But he's about twice the size.

And yes, I picked Williams. Because I was big on Williams, and still am. Not because I don't think Sergio's a good fighter. Martinez really proved me wrong. He was devastating on Saturday.

I don't think it's a mismatch. But I do slightly favor Martinez... and if the Mayweather fight doesn't happen, I think it would be great. If Pacquiao wins the middleweight title against Martinez, he's probably the greatest of all time.

You mean it was a devastating KO. Up to the KO the fight was even. Both landing hard shots on each other. IMO if williams played it smarter, he could have avoided that KO. Martinez is bigger than Marquez but he is also smaller than Margarito. So i dont see the size as a problem.
