Pac has never been KO'd from a head shot.

He was KO'd twice by body shots, one almost looked like a dive.

I guess we don't know for sure, but I agree with you, it looked like a clear dive to me.

Although not a great chin, Maskaev was being referred to as a "solid" chinned fighter, prior to Kirk Johnson cracking it with the left hook. After that we saw him get iced by an arm-punch jab from Goofi and I think he got iced by a couple more weak ass bum fighters since then as well.

 

Corrales didn't get KO'd bad the way Paul or 'Nando did

 

I'd agree with that. Not that he landed more than 6 punches in the combined 2 fights, but Hopkins landed the type of shots that could have hurt/knocked down Taylor post-Pavlik.

 

I disagree. I think JT's chin was always mediocre. Pavlik or no Pavlik.

 

Has Martinez ever KO'd an opponent in the past with the same intensity as the Williams KO, or even come close to a KO of that magnitude?

Against Torrecampo it looked like he was hit right on the kisser... and he was OUT!

The one that might look like a dive was against that Thai, but Manny was dehydrated and the body punch looked hurtful.

He was also once down and hurt from a headshot after that.

 

Agreed, Duran's chin certainly wasn't "cracked". Well it was, but not in this sense ::

In fact Duran marks one of the incredible few who got brutally KO'd but then continued to show a solid chin.

Royness, watch the Torrecampo fight in slow motion. That punch is NOWHERE NEAR his chin.

He was down and hurt against Hussien, from that bizarre jab/cross, but that's the only time. Pacquiao's chin has always been solid.

Well that's certainly true. Like I said, he's one of a very select few whose chin was completely solid after getting properly KO'd like that.

Tua, by rights, cracked Olegs chin, proper. Laid him out. Then he got beaten by Johnson. 10 count. He then went on a losing KO streak but managed to reassert himself, taking heavy shots from Rahman to win the title.

Rahman was, prior to this, laid out by Maskaev.

Both men suffered other KO defeats but also won fights where they took heavy punishment.

Even in his last fights, Maskaev and Rahman seemed to succumb from being old rather than cracked.

 

Curry never seemed the same after he lost to what's his face.

M. Taylor's chin was clearly destroyed by Chavez.
