At 2.12 Machen goes down for the second time. Not only he is unable to walk, Ingo hits him twenty more times, even when his knee touches the canvas, and the ref actually counts to ten

 

I dont know... Duran versus Lou Bizzaro might be worse

The ref counting out Paul Williams and Roy Jones vs Glencoffe were pretty late stoppages

 

The shot that hit Roy didn't look that hard.

Agreed on the Williams one. There was no reason to even begin a acount there. Any time somebody falls face first without attempting to break their fall it's over.

 

Best example of that was Herol Graham vs Julian Jackson

Graham was obviously out cold upon hitting the canvas (before hitting the canvas actually)...yet the ref still counted to 10.

 

I never saw that before. That was awful. No wonder they eventually banned boxing in Sweden.

 

This vid, if you watched it, is worse. The assistants are already trying to wake Machen up, and the ref still counts.

Paret was already unconscious on his feet and the ref let Griffith land a series of flush uppercuts one after the other and then a succession of sickening hooks. Paret died right there in that ring.

ray leonard vs pete ranzany was bad. sim vs hatakeyama was bad, mercer morrison is probably the most well known. what that ref let garcia do to benton was downright criminal.

 

It's pretty funny actually. There are people hovering over the poor guy giving him mouth to mouth,punching his chest trying to revive a heartbeat, there is a priest in the corner giving the guy the last rites and etc meanwhile the referee is counting to ten.
