Really? Because I would have put his KO's, workrate, winning streak, and excitement level ahead of all that but I see your point when you tie all of it together.

That said, I've never known anyone who's compared a fighter to another to have their weight class in mind. For instance I've never heard anyone say "that guy reminds me of Sugar Ray Leonard...the way he cuts weight" and would certainly not expect them to have that comparison in mind when there are so many better attributes to SRL; and Manny is no different in that regard IMO.

It should also help that Jose Aldo hasn't jumped any weight classes as far as I know so why would we compare him that way?

 

Until Aldo makes a main event fight at 151lbs, then he isn't the Pacquiao of MMA.

 

Aldo versus Penn at 155 would be Main Event PPV worthy. There are few fights I would RATHER see.
